The developer you're speaking of is Nerd Kingdom, I believe. They were offered the game and all its assets, but refused. This was confirmed in an interview with Massively. Yogscast is being soaked up, sort of, by Nerd Kingdom, and people who backed Yogventures are being offered Nerd Kingdom's game TUG.

@McScroggz but what about the idea that the Wii U and Xbox One have a comparable sample size of exclusives. 10-9, respectively. Does that not supersede the time element?
It is fair to compare numbers though. 10 exclusives for the Wii U in 2013, nine for Xbox One. What's not fair about comparing those?
