To me this less a hardware issue and more an architecture issue.
People always go on about the Wii u's power, but the truth is the bigger problem for devs is the architecture being so different its too costly to rewrite code to fit. There is no cost benefit there any more.
If Wii u's set up was alike to ps4/xbone, it would be much simpler and cheaper to port to the Wii u during or after development, and thus third party support might have stuck aroun...
I couldn't watch the direct live so caught it later on so the video quality was much better. I think there's a marked improvement on the first when you see it in motion.

Plus people have been moaning so much that its sub par with a few specific issues (textures, empty landscapes NON MANDATORY gamepad controls etc) if some of these can be improved then that kills those arguments and thats just great for everyone
Happy with this myself. Got the following on my end of year list already...fatal frame (limited edition go Europe!) Xenoblade x, metal gear, star wars and assassin creed syndicate. Too many games in too short a time!

How am I a mug? I own a Wii u and a ps4, and am very objective with my thoughts.
And they may not be doing well in the marketplace, but they are doing well to be making the most out of the situation they put themselves in/and doing well.to have stopped reporting losses and be back in the black.

Having said that, they are still waaaay behind the competitors!
For me any company that is failing hard to sell their product but still turn a profit is doing well!
Considering the lack of sales, zero third party support, multiple historical losses and negative gaming-public perception its astonishing they can still stay afloat and now actually post profits.
There may be other financial situations and products helping that but all that shows is that they are clearly good at exploiting these conditions and are great at ru...
I'm getting this day 1 (here in the UK) as I've liked the look of this for ages.
It will be disappointing if its a technical bust, considering how long this was in dvelopmentbfor pre wii-u and a couple of years on wii-u's books as well
However despite that I think there's an interesting vibe to it I can imagine will hook me on, most notably with its multiplayer being the most similar to time splitters I've seen!

I do agree with some of the commenters...if the previewer didn't like the first game, to which he says its very similar, then he probably shouldn't have been the one to preview it.
Reviews and previews should be neutral from the get go.
Nonetheless his view is as valid as any, although I'm likely to disagree when I get my hands on it!
I would like to think that this is a sign that there is so much in their e3 digital event they couldn't fit it all in so have had to release this stuff to make room!
Surprised by the project treasure trailer. It would have got sooooooo much more attention as a mature title at e3then leaked before hand when noone's looking except Nintendo fans
