Matsuno is not actively working on the game. It's his idea and Playdek is executing it. And just now, I bet Matsuno convinced Yoshida to work full time on this game for Playdek to give it a Kickstarter boost. The board of directors do not have me convinced. They should have had something more tangible than ideas before going to Kickstarter. Instead, their promotional video is full of emotional stir. Lastly, the card game issue was their own fault. They should have kept those two spin-off ...

The developers are inexperienced with SRPG games. They have little to no experience. Like the previous commentor said, Matsuno is not actively working on this game. In fact, I believe the developers are based in the US. Texas if I'm not mistaken. I'd bet my money on this game flopping. Invest in Project Phoenix instead. People who have worked on countless other JRPGs are working on that one including FFT. And you can still get kickstarter rewards via paypal. Check them out instead.
Fatal Frame III was alright
New arrangements sound like they'll keep their spirit for me. I'm not fretting it unless it distracts me from the gameplay. It sounds good so far.
The variety of Steam Machines amazes me. I really don't see it becoming big though. Building your own PC and sticking SteamOS on it is cheaper.
It's not native. It's upscaled. Character textures are the same. Anti aliasing can only do so much. Characters were reworked for this version. No emulator can replicate that. Soundtrack was also upgraded. I also have my backup running on PCSX2 and am picking up a copy for my PS3/Vita to show my support.
