MW2 didn't always have it and us Aussie's hated playing the game as it would ALWAYS choose an American host and it always lagged.. Back when MW2 launched, if you were lucky enough to get a lobby with an Aussie host, you never left cos you knew your chances of finding another one were pretty low.
Of course it added the feature a few months later so now its a non-issue.
Squash is awesome! I play all the time but it's lost its popularity in Australia unfortunately...
It could be because indie games aren't available in all regions so its easier to give them their own channel then region block the channel than to mix them with the other games and region block each game.
Rallisport Challenge was always better than PGR in my opinion especially RSC2! It was too much fun!

I didn't know you guys got food ads etc. In australia we only get ad's promoting new released games and special cash back offers which is why i always thought you guys were just being over sensitive about the whole 'i pay for ads!!!' thing.

Yep i agree that they have gone over board with the advertising budget but time will tell once the initial sales for kinect vs move go live.

ok, i admit i had never heard of those games before. But still, the success all lies in the implemention and on whether it improves on what has already been established. So far from what i have seen it is doing ok but i wouldn't buy it.

Gaming started a long time ago, pretty much everything has been done to death genre wise but it's the way its implemented which can be interesting, fun or innovative.
Have fitness and dancing games been done before? Yes! Have they been done using a camera to track your movements? No!(at least i believe not)
To be honest, i don't really have any intention to buy it as nothing at the moment really takes my fancy but don't totally write something off...

I don't know if this happened in the US but in Australia, if you bought the console at the launch price you could send away for 2 free games of your chosing and another controller. This was due to it only being on sale for about 1 month before they 'revised' the price of the console.

and there is one map that has 4 flags in BC2, i don't remember the name as i don't play conquest very often but it looks like an old ship yard.
Also, every conquest map in BC1 had 5 flags and that game was also limited to 24 players.
