right about the jaffe bit.
wrong about the angryjoe part. or i think you are wrong anyway. i dont think angryjoe wants to make nintendo youtube videos at all, the whole point he did this one was to get nintendo to block it so he can make a rant video and create a controversial story for 2015.
david jaffe is right,, angryjoe is on the wrong side here.
he was trying to stir up controversy by putting up a video he knows nintendo would block the adrevenue on. evey gamer on youtube should know this.
now joe mentioning that if nintendo should do this? its really a tough choice and we don't really know nintendos intentions. however joe used ridiculous examples and sounded like an idiot in his rant video. asking if he should get paid for recommending ...
definitely bot a good idea and its definitely not something easy to pull off.
name me 5 chinese actors that has been in hollywood movies. if you were struggling to think of 5, now try to feel the whole cast and then you will understand how hard it is to pull off.
if you really think people who bought the game before will buy this one you are mistaken.
this is practically the same game but with dlc. its a decent deal for new comers and for publishers they actually get money for new game sales instead of retailers reselling their game over and over again.
its not a bad thing. its probably some people want nintendo to release these games and charge a dollar or something. lol
however it is dissapointing that it is not available on the 3ds as well. would also like to mention that they need 1 virtual console, not a virtual console for wii, wiiU and 3ds. its still a good job that nintendo is doing though, sooner or later the wiiU would be able to play classics from every previous nintendo devices.
ps4 is lacking on this and...
virtual console is a great thing.
the only problem is that it should be unified. the technology exists so that it should be easy to implement and whatever we buy on virtual console should be available on any devices we decide to play it on.
its also about time that nintendo allows us to play gamecube games on the wiiU. if they did that then the wiiU would be the ultimate nintendo machine. we all know it is capable of playing gamecube games because of the hacks that en...
played the first timesplitters, was pretty fun for a splitscreen console fps.
it kinda showed the potential of what the team can do when they have more power and dual analog sticks compared to golden eye and perfect dark. not sure if any of the team is still around but i would give this a try if they have splitscreen mode.
the ammibo concept is kinda strange and unclear. nintendo has so many first party titles but the use of amiibo is very limited in their games. hopefully there would be better use of amiibo like having link appear in mario maker if i have a link figure etc...
anyway, i hope sony or ms dont bother with this concept. they just dont have the audience for these things, especially in the sense that most games we get are 3rd party multiplats. what would be pretty cool is to have a p...
was announced too long ago so i might have forgotten about it.
but my point is that last generation consoles dont sell that much software anymore. reboot sold 4.5 on previous generatiion, i would be surprised if 360 and xbone can get anywhere near that number.
8.5m? i wonder if se is happy about the sales yet. or maybe they want to hit 10m?lol
the sequel will definitely not sell as much since there would probably not be a ps3 or 360 version. we all expect this game to come out spring for other devices , if not a complete edition will be released. 5mil total would be se aim which is not too hard to imagine.
it has been rumored that xv was in production and hiroyuki ito was the director behind this project. this was obviously before versus xiii got renamed to xv so i do believe that this project will now be the ffxvi.
he directed or codirected vi,ix and xii. 3 of the most high rated games and he was the battle designer for even more great games.
obviously these rumors appeared mainly because xiii sucked in most peoples eyes and gamers wanted something more tradit...
i think it depends on what you call develoment.
there is definitely somehting planned and i have a sneaking suspicion that hiryuki ito is behind the next game.
found something about ito on wikipedia:
"In September 2012, Ito said that he would work on another Final Fantasy game if the company's president wished for it.[3] The corporate executive of Square Enix's 1st Production Department, Shinji Hashimoto, mentioned in July 2013 that Ito was "...
wow, never knew something like that existed. dont like the position of up, but i guess its better to have that in the thumb position.
read online that it can be used to cheat in games like marvel by pressing back and forward to block crossovers. dont play marvel but this hitbox does seem like its frowned upon in the fighting community.
not surprised, seemed like this game was heavily advertised on the net before the superbowl ad.
also uses a lot of keywords in its title.
'game of' refers to game of thrones.
'of war' refers to god of war
'fire age' probably refers to dragon age.
its basicaly a genre title that is outdated. 99% of games are rpg in a sense since we are role playing as a character. so in a sense uncharted is an rpg.
in todays terms, rpg is probably something that involves character creation, or something that relies heavily on stat boosting gained by exp, level ups and weapons.
if you remember last e3(?) they revealed this game and then put the beta on ps4.
this could have impacted the ps4 sales a lot. or it could just be ps4 is selling more games.
but its the first 3 hours of release that really counts on an online mp game.
who cares how many players are actively playing this old game right now.
lets move on and talk about the next upcoming game instead.=P
david jaffe is pretty much spot on. i respect his opinions a lot because he says what he thinks.
for the most part, gameplay videos and lets plays on youtube was always a grey area type thing, was no right or wrong. i think it is more in the white area these days. anyway, nintendo outrights says that they dont like it and the only way to do this is by following their policies, youtube has allowed them to do this so people need to accept this as reality. you dont hear me compl...
no one is telling him to "advertise"
angryjoes points are from his point only. he was ranting about if he tells a friend should he get any money? no, but if he joins an affiliate program like amazon and he tells a friend then he will get some money.
youtubers are not advertising in a tradtional sense. unless publishers pay them like ms or what wb did with mordor.
nobody told him to buy nintendo products, and nobody told him to try and "advertise...
i think they are talking about p.t. and not silent hills.
silent hills has a great chance of coming out. but not sure who will be making this game, probably a big chunk of kojima fans lost interest in this game. konami doesnt have the talent to create video games anymore.
