Agree. Me sales are good and they wass able to launch in so many countries in a short period of time. Basically achieving the fastest sale in 24 hours.
Obviously ps4 could have Been even better but they decided to go safe route and spread out the dates.
Price cut is only in UK and some retailers lowered their price anyway.

Casuals? They pretty much go for multiplats anyway. Both xbone and ps4 has shown nothing that I'm interested in.

For ps3 gamers. You can probably import from play-asia and then pay extra £1-2 so that they wrap it as a gift to avoid import taxes.

For some reason I got the feeling that this game was Supposed to be a fps but maybe they found out it was impossible for their budget. That's the feeling I get anyway.
Problem with local 4 player games is that they tend to only be fun when you have 4 players. Also coTyrol pads are expensive
It's strange why they bother releasing light gun games in this day and age. Especially since no one even buys those peripherals anymore. Only thong we got close to a light gun in recent years was wii and psmove

I think Wii was limited by stock. Could have sold alto more.
Ps2 was only released in Japan so stock wasn't a problem and if I remember right had more Japanese games.
Money wise I think MS made more money from 360 then the ps3 did.
360 had Xbox live giving themployees a constant stream of money, 360 was cheapwe to make, Kinect was a success and pretty sure they sold alor more games.
Most mmultiply sold more on 360 and their exclusives sell like mad.
This generation PS4 should be the one in the lead with sales and games sales.
They sold out In 3 days. Though I guess they just didn't get enough orders. Retailers must have underestimated the market. If I'm not mistaken, stores have been able to restock in ps4's right?

It's pretty amazing how Sony have made so many PS4's for launch. Seems like they are maxing out the amount they can make and still selling out. Glad they didn't try to limit stock to create buzz by selling out.
well devs havfe a decision to make most of the time. hihg res, high poly count, texture quality, lighting and shadow effects, AA, particle effects, enemy AI amount of enemy on screen. etc... linear games will obviously be easier to control or balance things.
in this case with the devs. its definitely the devs that are to blame. PS4 version dipping lower than 30fps constantly whilt the xbone only keeps a steadier fps. Is the xbone upscaler that much better/effiecnt on the xbon...

Getaway would be great. Actually any open world games would be great if they actually had as many people as real life. wouldn't care if graphics looked like PS2 games. Actually having to suffer through traffic in a video game would be the most stressful game in the world.
Problem with ps3 was that it was an expensive machine to make. Blu Ray drive was expensive and they chucked aa ton of money on cell.
Actualy I think the only reason ps3 was expensive was because of the cell processor.
I remember hearing that during production if the gel processor there was a high failure rate with its 8th spu, which meant they decided to block one spu.
