Multiplayer hopefully coop play!
I wish they were $60 here in WV. I grab one in a second just for the upscaled DVDs.
Being a long time UT player. Matter of fact both UT and UT2K3 prompted both of my PC purchases I am worried about the lack of dedicated servers for the 360 version.
I know I will be considered a whiner by some, but the host advantage in Gears deters me from playing. While it is certainly better in the Annex game type, where you can spawn quickly, I just don't know if UT3 360 will be worth it. I may have to sit this tournament out for a while and play Halo 3. That is unless Epi...
If I was Capcom I would use every feature availabe to sell games.
The PS3 is getting more attractive by the minute. Now, all they need is more current gen games.
I have only owned my 360 since December so I haven't played a lot of 360 games, but saying GeOW is the only good game is ludacris, IMO. I have had a lot of fun playing Lost Planet and I am currently enamored with Dead Rising. While GeOW was my system seller I would have bought a 360 earlier if I had played DR. In addition, I still need to play Prey, Rainbox Six Vegas, GRAW 2, Chromehounds and a few others.
So your comment either shows extreme bias or you just can't appreciate a...
I think the map pack should have cost 400pts. This is no reflection of the quality of the product, I am a long term Epic customer and I am used to free content. That way MS would make a few bones and Epic's maps would be as cheap as possible.
I agree with the users on this board that stated Epic did MS a favor by suggesting 512 of ram. I seriously doubt Dead Rising would have been as grand, at times, with 256 MB of ram. Not to mention the existing ram issues starting up multip...
Did they release the Annex gametype or is it included with these maps?
This story makes me want to quit spending money on Live Arcade games. I guess I will have to spend my points on hidef movie rentals.
My 360 has been out of action since the last patch. Is GoW still host advantage shotgun war? If so I will pass on these maps and any other not free content.
Very nice!
Deus Ex was so good I didn't bother to finish it. I would have selected Half-Life or Star Craft.
I have not finished DR yet, but from my play you can select the pychopath missions and/or the escort missions. While the escort mission lose their luster after the first few I still find myself trying to escort as many as possible. It might help if they were not dumb as dirt. I killed at least two or three that got in the way of my sledgehammer. Once again AI improvements would help a lot.
Totally agree about the spam calls. Just assign me my missions, cut the chit chat.
I agree coop would be a great addition.
I believe the funky save system is necessary to add difficulty to the game. Without the save system I would have never needed magazines (to enhance abilities), wasp queens, or juice mixes. Without it, DR would just be a boring hack in slash (like Dynasty Warriors with zombies) and how lame that would be.
However, I would like for them to refine the combat system and fix the AI bugs. Right now the combat system is too cumb...
I would easily spend 800 points on this. If they add acheivements to the standard online play this could be a big hit on Xbox Live. Very good news.
How about spending less time living off your past work and more time making a decent game?
DR has no multiplayer, but does have Xbox Live components. Here is a pretty good review that might shed some light:

I am hoping DR 2 has coop play.
While I am still glad I dumped my Wii for my 360, having never finished RE 4 I am tempted to acquire another Wii at a later date. Until then I will be playing Dead Rising, which IMO is a much better game.
This past Christmas TRU offered $100 gift certificate with the purchase of a permium. Which I used for GoW and Xbox Live. I found the deal at:
www.slickdeals.net (very good website for consumers who like to maximize their money)
Yeah baby! YEAH!!!
