"Metroid simply isn't as popular as stuff like Mario and Zelda." True, but it's still like their third most popular franchise, and if they can make time for things like Star Fox, then you'd think they'd have time for Metroid. I don't want a Metroid game every Year, but one every 3 to 4 years would be nice. The least Nintendo could do would be to acknowledge the franchise.
So you never beat the first Metroid, or at least got a game over in Super Metroid?
People who want a Pokemon MMO don't seem to understand that it would ruin the Pokemon main series games. Sure a Pokemon MMO might be neat at first, but Pokemon's style of combat likely wouldn't transfer very nicely to MMO form. Additionally if the game was successful, you'd likely never see another main series Pokemon game, sure you'd probably get new Pokemon and regions added in yearly updates, but you'd never get a new Pokemon game ever again. Think about it, how man...
Telltale games are a mess in general, not just on PC.
At least we can still use a keyboard and mouse rather than garbage controllers.
The people who wrote the article are just retarded, you can build a PC more powerful than the Scorpio for about $650 (like this one http://pcpartpicker.com/lis... ) Considering the Scorpio will probably be about $600 - $700 this is still the better choice.
This mid range PC is better than the scorpio, http://pcpartpicker.com/lis... this article is stupid, yes the PC they built will obviously destroy the Scorpio, but PC's like the one I linked to will likely outperform it by a little, for about $650
The Scorpio will most likely cost $600 - $700 you can build a pc that will out perform it for about $650 already. This article is ridiculous, implying that you need to spend $1800 to outperform the Scorpio is dumb, when a machine like this http://pcpartpicker.com/lis... will do it just fine.
Not necessarily, the Scorpio will probably use a mobile cpu, and get destroyed by most overclocked i5's and i7's.
This one will out perform the Scorpio, and will be about $650 (the 1060 prices haven't been added to pc part picker yet.) http://pcpartpicker.com/lis...
You mean like how the plot was stupid, and the acting was bad.
You can't, they said it can't go online
There are probably about 5MB worth of games here. I didn't feel like doing the exact math, but considering these games average from 8KB to 128KB My estimate may in fact be too high. The user interface will probably be about 1GB (1024MB) so I'd be surprised if this thing even holds 2GB, honestly it probably costs Nintendo less than $5 to make one. That being said I'll probably still buy one since it looks pretty neat.
I can't reply to your other comment for some reason, but you're wrong, you can get pretty close to a PS4's price and still get a better PC.
Here's proof: http://pcpartpicker.com/lis...
Also if you're paying for Windows than you're doing it wrong.
But VR is what finally makes motion controls awesome, I've played the HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift, I haven't tried PSVR yet, but from my experience I can tell you that it's far more immersive with motion controls.
I have two 4K tv's, and a 4K computer monitor, and I plan on buying another 4K tv for my bedroom this summer. That being said I highly doubt the Scorpio will truly handle 4K the way Microsoft claims, and it certainly won't do as well as my gaming PC's.
It didn't make the list because it's in the same price bracket as the newer GTX 1070 which utterly demolishes the r9 390, it's possible that in a few months when it's announced/released that the rx 490 (the 390's successor) will take the 1070's spot. But we'll have to wait and see if the high end Polaris cards beat the high end Pascal cards, and based on recent history I think that the 1070 might hold its place against the 490.
Where are all the classics? I would argue that games like Super Metroid, and the original Legend of Zelda deserved top 25 at the very least, and possibly top ten.
$1100 PC with only 8GB of RAM, a $90 PSU, and liquid cooling, what is wrong with you? I was able to get 16GB of RAM, and a freaking GTX 1080 for that price. http://pcpartpicker.com/lis... That's the parts list if you're interested.
