I myself had forgotten how significantly the PSone and PS2 expanded the videogame industry as a whole in the past ten years; the fact that my own mother was a PSone fanatic is a personal testiment to that claim. (Believe it or not she was hooked on Twisted Metal 2)

What a close call, I am so happy to hear that all the rumors of Warhawk being flushed down the toilet were all false; Warhawk was the first PSone game that I played back in '96 and it was the primary reason I purchased a playstation back then. I hope sony makes it available on the playstation's store pretty soon, maybe shortly after the release of the new version on PS3, that would be great.

I don't know what it is but this site loves to butcher a story (particularly anti-PS3 stories) until it has less life left in it than Saddamn Hussein. If I am not mistaken, this is already the third "PS3's not selling out" type of story that has been posted here in the last 48 hours, but when news of a microsoft employee commenting on HD-DVD as the next betamax comes to be heard, one news post is made and then it is never heard from again....
This problem only relates to HD sets that do not support 720 right?
oh well, I hope by saturday Sony releases a statement to clarify this whole situation, Sony already stated that they will make a software upgrade patch to correct the Backward capatibility problem, so hopefully they will make a patch available to fix this oversight, and soon!

Downloads were announced by Sony at the Tokyo Game Show and discussed in futher detail at Sony Gamers Day on October 19, so when Sony eventually makes all of this content available over PNP, xbox idiots shouldn't run their mouths about Sony copying Microsoft, even though it appears that common sense isn't all to common with any of them but hey, I expect nothing less.

At least blu ray on the ps3 is ambidextrous and can play and support films and advance the software for the system, but all the Microsoft Butt-Buddies won't hear any of it.
I don't dislike this product because I am an anti-sony fanboy (quite the contrary, I have absolutley no interest in the xbox 360. PS3 will be the pinnicle of next-gen gaming; 360 geeks can keep denying it like O.J. Simpson or they can accept it and keep enjoying their second-rate xbox 360) it just seems like such a stupid idea, even though now I understand that this controller will have its place in the peripheral market, no matter what.
If you are so out of shape that you sweat profusely while lying around and PLAYING videogames, Purchasing this controller should be the last concern on your list, way behind getting out and burning off some of that flab.

I'm personally not into baseball so the chances of me playing this game are about as good as Anna Nicole Smith doing the funky monkey with Saddamn Hussein, but at least the game has a great soundtrack with some legendary groups, particularly Nirvana and Sublime.
It's just great to see a sports game without any crappy Emo music. bands like my chemical romance can't even touch bands like Nirvana, especially in the innovative category.
