@Ult iMate
Maybe he is talking about games, 3D effects and some other aspects? I do think he is right.
I would hate to see smartphone gaming as standard.
Looks like it's up to Sony to save Gamescom this year. So many great info and games!
Too bad we won't have GTAV details.
Well, we will get games like Castlevania, Fire Emblem, Luigi's Mansion, Professor Layton, Kingdom Hearts, Paper Mario, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy, Heroes of Ruin, Epic Mickey and New Super Mario Bros. 2. I believe 3DS will have a strong 2012 lineup in US.
Stop with the secrets Nintendo, I won't to know what the WiiU is really capable of. This thing is going to be released in a few months!
It seems Nintendo and Ubisoft are in love.
I hope we can have some Watch Dogs action on the WiiU.
-EDIT-
Yeah, people will disagree with me just because I want game X on platform Y. Fanboys are the worst race in this planet for sure.
You can disagree all you want but I hope multiplatform games will be released for every next generation system, so everyone will be happy.
So... Nintendo sold 150M DS units, almost 100M Wii units, the 3DS is already selling very well (18M worldwide), software (Pokémon, Mario etc) is always selling like hotcakes and this guy is saying Nintendo is on track to become primarily a software company? Heh...
I know the Wii is very underpowered but Nintendo is always bringing new ways to play with their hardware which is also good for the industry (d-pad, analog, rumble, motion controls, triggers, etc etc etc). I do...
Or maybe people just want to spend money with some other 3DS softwares like Pokémon?
Finally something good about those versions. I hope they will fix the texture problems in Arkham City, but so far AC3 seems to be improved (E3 build had some bugs/glitches and some other problems).
@taquito
Can you read his post again? He said CONSOLE, not PC. He isn't saying it will be better than the PC version. Maybe he doesn't like to play videogames on PC? Who knows, but keep in mind he is talking about console, so your comparison is useless for people like JBSleek and me.
My bone sense is feeling that you don't know what "Power7" means. WiiU is confirmed to have a Power7 CPU (which will have a much more powerful architeture even with lower clockspeeds). GPU started to be developed in 2010, which means it has modern architeture with some DX11 features.
Rumors are saying it has 2GBs of ram (500MB locked for the OS at launch) against 512MB on the x360.
Do you really think it will be "a bit more powerful"? ...
@-Mika-
So youre saying that NSMB is similar to Super Mario World and Mario Galaxy is similar to Mario 64 with only a few additions.
Really?
Well, it's a matter of taste/opinion. Really.
Or maybe WiiU will be the first platform announced (Ubi and Nintendo seems to have a great partnership now), so they can't talk about it before the Nintendo conference in september.
Looks intriguing but I need a gameplay video/demo
@Psycho_PS3Truthh
Stop with the fanboy shi*. PS3 is also my favorite console this gen but it's just MY opinion + MY tastes. Some other people will prefer the x360 or Wii.
I will buy PS4 and WiiU at launch (if there is a black WiiU at launch)
Which is fine by me. Mario, Pokémon and those JRPGs are great games. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean people should have the same opinion/taste as yours.
@greewpowder
Also, it doesn't matter if it has kids, adults or girls. You shouldn't discriminate any player. What really matters is if there are GAMERS on the 3DS. I know a lot of gamer girls, I know a lot of gamer kids, and I know a lot of gamer adults who plays on the 3DS, so we shouldn't discriminate any gamer just because they are kids/adults/girls.
Being a kid won't stop you from playing games like Resident Evil Revelations (even if it's t/m r...
@Morrigan-Aensland
Maybe he is talking about 3D effects or the 3DS's dual screen (which is not possible on vita)? So yeah, vita has nothing to do with this article.
