i wouldn't say that. lost oddysey was very good. turn-based, world map, etc. Hironobu Sakaguchi WAS the one who came up with the game. The father of Final Fantasy just made another good game. i'd like to see more turn-based in later games.

i would've gone for Heavy Rain or God of War III. Both left me on the edge of my seat as i kept getting further into them.
the main reason i've been playing video games for most of my life is because of the stories and artwork that goes into making them. i love getting new ideas for drawings and such. Legend of Dragoon really hit the spot for me. I'm still in love with that game and I will play it over and over again.

my theory on why it's called Final Fantasy versus XIII:
they wanted to release XIII to see how it would do going multiplat. then the verusus team wanted to leave it exclusive to show the full potential of the game, hence the name "versus," opposing of the multiplat release.
this is all just my theory. i've actually been thinking about that possibility for a while...
