The Dead Linger should also be there.
It sounds really promising, but I'm not sure if the developer can fulfill everything they promise.
The only game I plan on getting after the Steam Sale is Borderlands 2 and possibly the stand-alone DayZ version.
I played in one of the beta weekends and I found the combat really generic. It's very target based like in most MMOs.
I liked the missions, they were fun and the skill wheel is really cool and all, but I don't find it justifying the gameplay overall.
Just my opinion.
I don't think you are the only one.
I for one really want it in order to play DayZ, but if I buy it now it will go on a discount on Steam's Summer Sale, it's just my luck.
Sure it can, just enable an offline mode and mod support. The community will take care of the rest.
What about The Legend of Zelda? or Morrowind? or Skyrim?
FIFA 13 is both on this list and is above Borderlands 2...
Black Ops 2 is also on this list.
This list is shit.
What about The Dead Linger? Dead State? Project Zomboid?
As long as it isn't linear, then I'll give it a go.
By linear I mean that there's only one way to do stuff, just the story and only a straight way forward with occasional crossroads, which eventually bring all the paths on a single path with a single ending.
Telltale's The Walking Dead is the opposite of linear, I love it.
No Minecraft?
No San Andreas?
Terrible List.
Today's TES games:
- First-Person
- Real-Time combat
- Realistic-themed Shader
What this game is aiming for:
- Third-person
- Target-based combat
- Cartoony Shader
I will not change my mind about hating this game until I see these things changed.
1. I'd rather want to sell my old PS3 and have a single console that can play my old games, or games that I never bought and would like to play.
2. The gaming industry is becoming more and more digital, but some games on the PS3, like God of War 3, is 38GB and I doubt people would want to download that, so discs won't be dying anytime soon.
3. Cross-game voice chat and better quality voice chat is needed on the PS3
4. Depends on the g...
Wrong, the Super Mario Party games are the best, especially on N64.
Never had as much fun with friends.
Goddamnit, I have the PS3 version.
Now I really want the Steam Summer Sale to start, getting JC2 for PC is now a must.
I'll just add it to the list of must-buy games during the sale:
-ArmA 2: CO
-The Walking Dead
-Civ5: Gods and Kings
-Just Cause 2
From Dust is rather casual in my opinion.
I hope Telltale's The Walking Dead gets a discount an ofcourse ArmA:II - CO.
Love em zombies.
Revelations 2012 isn't on this list... It's byfar the WORST game of the year, maybe even in the history of gaming by some points of view.
I'm not buying another CoD game any time soon.
I've given up on all franchises that have annual releases, that means CoD, AC, EA Sports Games (which tend to suck though) and many others.
When a franchise becomes annual that often means that the publisher is VERY greedy and most of the time there's nothing in the previous game that can't be patched to make it have the features the new one has, if any.
It's ok to release every 2 years, or 3, to update...
What about the IGN The Legend of Zelda movie trailer April Fools?
I've stopped playing this game altogether. I'm gonna pirate it when, or if, the DRM gets cracked.
Back in my day, single-player games didn't have latency and multi-player games had a thing called LAN-mode.
Ouya is the console I've been waiting for for a long time.
It's perfect for a user like me. If I want better hardware, I swap it out. If I want a new OS/Software, I just install it.
Wait... it sounds like a weird looking laptop with a controller and custom OS when I think about it...
