Robert Horry is not a legend a good player clutch shots but no legend. Can't wait for this game. The NBA season being cut is going to suck a little less thanks to this game.
Personally I think you have to look at each individual kid and as a parent decide if they are ready for a particular game. I think that the ratings are a good guideline but not the end all be all. I would lit me son play some M rated games but not others. And online is a whole other world. COD i have no problem letting him play the single player but I don't let him go online if I am not there. There are to many damn fools with there xxx player cards and shit talk.

We get that arguement with every game how this game will beat KZ2 or GOW3 or Uncharted 2 and it never happens. While I think Rage looks good lets just see what it can do when we get it. My bet is that it will fall short. Don't seem to be many enemies on screen at all.
You all make good arguements. For me not a big deal but like I said it is good to have options as It may be great for others.
I agree Battleaxe. When do you see a significant change from beta to final copy. Sure you get tweaks and some fixes but you don't get anything that drasticly different.

Gonna have to disagree with you. After playing it I don't think I will be buying it. There is no huge jump from beta to final. Sure there will be some fixes and tweaks but this game just didn't do it for me. Just looking and playing the game the screen just seems washed or slightly foggy. After hearing how great it was going to be I just feel let down. I hope that I am wrong and the final product will be great.
I agree with you. For most it is already hooked up to a tv. I just want my system to focus on games. I have so many other devices that can already do these things. But it is never bad to have options.

I agree just look at what happened when the HP Touchpad had a $99 fire sale. They went in seconds.
I still think there is room for the dedicated handheld gaming machine. Physical buttons and devs that work on systems that are the same spec wise can get the most out of said system. And you just don't have that with android. To many different devices.

I have a PS3 but I sure as hell don't think like you. If I had the money to own more consoles I would. It's about the games. There are plenty on all consoles to enjoy. To each his own.
So what if a system tailors itself to the younger crowd. My kids love the Wii. I enjoy playing it with them. I don't game on it by myself but it is fun to spend time with them on it. I guess it would be on how you define legend. When I think of the great NBA players I think of them as legends. I just don't think he had the skills and talent to be in the same class as the others. Now He did have some amazing clutch shots you can't argue that. So if you think of it as legendary moments I could see it.
