Because gamers are insanely passionate about what they like. By alot of people standards that`s a "fanboy". We argue, we bicker, we drive the culture. Gamers are NOT afraid to say what they like, that`s a great thing. It drives developers to make better games, company have more drive to meet their goals from this. Some people say stupid sh!t, but thats life, just laugh ...

yep, graphics are just graphics. Gameplay hold the depth.
also, good beat are just good beats, Lyrics hold the depth.
beside some instrumental stuff, obviously.
But.. to the AVERAGE public, GRAPHICS definitely matter the most. If a game looks GREAT it immediately gets your/their attention, kinda like good beats with music it just gets you attention. Wouldn`t you agree?
I just hear/read/see Final Fantasy VII, I just imagine a PS3 version automatically.

With Bluray`s victory, production costs are guaranteed to drop quickly. The more MAINSTREAM Bluray becomes, the cheaper the PS3 will be to produce. It`s as simple as that.
