They didn`t do "fair" comparisons, anyone who has been here for a while remembers this.
and I`ve heard you name drop that one all last year comparing it to every PS3 game. Funny how you NOW don`t want it compared to Killzone 2.

NONE of us have seen R2`s SP engine, which is entirely different than the MP one. So wait till JUNE, BTW the MP one looks GREAT and has 60 people compared to GEARS2 5 on 5, maybe 6 on 6 max.
But sadly all those comments are extremely outdated. I have to MANY games I`m playing right now. GTAIV works perfectly.
The only reason ALL of you even are saying any of that is all the built up FRUSTRATION of the down-hill ride it`s been for the 360 thus far in 2008. Everything you guys said wasn`t possible last year, happened.
That has to hurt some of you, atleast.
Single Player, It`s a different engine than the MP one. So..Hold that thought until June.
I walked into the local ARCADE and looked over @ the original MK machine and saw Sub-Zero rip Kano`s head off. I was young, I`ll never forget it.

But seriously Gears looks and plays great, but there is ALOT of competition this time around. Not so much, the first time.
and made it VIOLENT as POSSIBLE, to get their "shock value" back, like back in the day.
Which isn`t a bad thing. Sales wise.....this is what I gotta say, when Gears1 first came out there was little to NO competition. This time it`ll be going against.....
1. The PS3 which is always selling more hardware than 360 now.
2. Little Big Planet (has a serious chance to be GOTY and is out the same time)
3. Resistance 2 (Is seriously "steppin it up")
4. Killzone 2 (in Febuary)

It looks like a mix between GeoW1 and UT3. Which isn`t a bad thing. The flying "Locusts" were impressive.
With that said....
Killzone 2 NOW has the console/gaming crown. If the 360 was gonna make a HUGE leap this would have been it, as good as it looks in looks like GeoW1 w/ a bit more going on, which again...isn`t a bad thing. What`s always bother me w/ Gears is how the characters move/die/transfer and it looks like that hasn`t changed much.
You last year would always say...."the PS3 is dead"
