I agree, People keep saying a digital future would mean cheaper games, but I just don't see how that would be true. Can you really see greedy companies like EA or Ubi charging less when they'd have control over the one market.
I think the hate for this game is being blown out of proportion. Yes, there are haters, but I'm seeing way more positive comments. Hate is just always heard louder than positivity.
P.S. I agree with you that devs should make games for themselves. I always say that if you don't love your art how can you expect others to like it.

Yeah, that does make sense, but I think the biggest problem with COD at the moment is that it's just tired. I know each studio has 3 years to develop the game, but I think a longer wait is justified. People are getting tired of COD, and the game seems to be innovating just for innovation's sake. If I were Actvision I would handle COD the same way Rockstar handles GTA. I'm surprised that there hasn't been a Pokemon announcement yet. Pokemon Z would make sense, It would be like Platinum to Diamond and Pearl. Anyway I haven't played a Pokemon game in years (last one was Platinum) so I would be looking into a new one. The only bad thing is I'll have to learn more Pokemon. When I quit there was 493, and now there's probably hundreds more.

I really loved Kane and Lynch: Dead Men. I loved how the characters were pure evil (verses that "antihero" evil), and only did things to get themselves further. Add that to the game's atmosphere, amazing and varied levels, and awesome multiplayer (which sadly nobody plays anymore) and you have a great game. It was really sad for me when K&L 2 came and dropped the ball because I loved the first game so much.
I got the platinum for murdered soul suspect in less than 8 hours, and most of the time was spent looking for the collectables needed for the platinum. You can easily complete the story mode in less than four hours, and the game is also extremely easy.

I agree with you about Haze. People try to to make it seem decent when it really isn't. Haze is one of the worst games I've ever played.
Another game people try to make seem good is Brink. I found nothing redeeming in Brink, yet you can still find fans of it online.
Including MGS 5? I wanna boycott Konami as much as the next guy, but even I can't miss Kojima's final masterpiece.
This game reminds me of the games I played in my youth. That alone makes me want to check it out.
