the xmb is slow and it could be better no question
many bash COD here but the way I see it, the only thing I don't like is price of map packs. with all the money they make they should be free and especially not fifteen dollars. Now, COD gets great support, never hard to find games, 60fps which is big to me, smooth controls, robust MP, no online pass/lock crap and overall I find COD fun and competitive. I purchased Fear3 and getting into a mp game is unsuccessful most of the time and the devs are nowhere to be found about patching the prob...
it has local split screen mode also. when psn/xbl shuts down, and they will because servers don't last forever I don't have these modes unlocked on my physical copy to use on any other console(ps3 in my case)or when my hdd crashes I can't access the content anymore. I BUY games to keep, not to play and resell. there is no ownership in digital media and that's what I don't like about it. Why didn't DAY1 or WB come right out and say, "this game requires an online pa...
would be an 8.5 if the multiplayer actually worked. And the OP is rediculous. out of the four MP modes, two of them have to be unlocked via PSN or XBL. Another hand of control at the expense of a full product and ownership, thanks! Will be returning this game soon.
and why didn't they advertise their game better? it has no buzz whatsoever
games look about the same anyway. no big difference between ps3 and 360, but for some, boasting one over the other helps them sleep at nigh
"I wish the best luck for sony as a whole, there the only hardcore gaming company left."
how is that?

although I plan to get it on the ps3, I won't fool myself into thinking the console version will be anywhere near beautiful as the PC version on max setting. On consoles, I expect it to look as good as something like Crysis 2 does on consoles which is still great
crysis 2 is a very good looking game on ant platform
BRINK was so bad that I sold it within 2 weeks. They knew what shape this game was in and yet they still released it. I play alot of fps and BRINK was the biggest disappointment in my fps history because I was very excited for this game. I purchased my copy well before is was released, that's how much I liked what I had seen of Brink. Now, I wouldn't recommend buying Brink for even ten dollars
COD is FUN.
Looks good graphically as expected and I'm curious to see the changes in game mechanics. I would like to see better controls, better sound effects for the shooting, a better MP with more customization. I don't like playing as SP characters in MP. Felt cheap.
third person game of the year
