since the debate between which console is better...look at yourselves, i will be only stating facts in this comments.
we all know GTA started on the ps1 (actually pc, but who's counting?), but as soon as GTA3 came along, XBOX took it for grabs and, and the same for Vice City and SA...what is my point? when that happened, the software sales started soared high for the ps2...why? because consumers were used to the ps2...now here's another fact, i brought the XBOX double pack vers...
great for sony, i mean, i may hate the 360, but M$ might just grab a bundle on the 28th, and there it goes! but the way this article broke down the prices, it seem funny to me...anywho, just wait until the 30th..and on that day articels will fly into the internet saying which sold the must games..since both games are exactly the same, it doesnt matter, does it?
everything in that article, i can counter
1) Xbox Live - the ps3 has PSN, and according to many gaming sites (mainly, ign) both versions are the same, there is no difference in online play
2) GamerScores and Achievements - they did mention Home, but that doesnt make it any better, GTA has never been a game for bragging rights (unlike Halo), im just saying, PS3 will get this feature
3) Custom Soundtracks - the article says, the they R* custom soundtrack p...
that this is expensive, well think of it like this, the 360 wireless controller is cost more than the SIXAXIS. maybe not not at first (both are $49.99) but when you want to charge up your controllers you can get a cheap usb cable with a ps3; with the 360 buy AA or a rechargeable pack...so in the end, the ps3 controllers are cheaper, plus better than the 360's controller, imo
if i remember correctly, the last time i went into the gamestop, and saw a SIXAXIS it didnt have s usb cable, the reason sony is doing this (it's on the PS site) is because the usb mini-b cable is a common household product, and if you can afford another controller, then you can surely get a usb cable for $9.99...also it would make sense that the rumble is causing the battery to lose life quicker than the SIXAXIS, like a cell phone, if you text on it all day and dont talk, you will have more ...
so what if wal-mart sells less than MSRP? everything is cheaper at walmart, maybe by a couple of cents, or by a few dollars...dont complain about it, if you dont like it, then go to gamestop, and buy it and give sony its full support, sony is already rich, and dont you think it will do well with their exclusives/console?
have to disagree with you on that...most people do buy games to back up, but c'mon you can not tell me you havent download a n64 emulator on your pc, and a 500kb rom, and played it, or even a nes one, and played mario, without owning the game. i mean if its there, then its there, no one is going to stop people for doing it. its sony fault they made it so vulnerable, right now they dont care about the psp, as much as the ps3, why do you think a year later no one has been able to hack it (unlik...
this is Japan ps3 only, and we do not have any chance of anything great coming...just get us to 2.5 on the ps3, and 4.0 on the psp...and trust me, we will be happy
sony loves doing this..but they are so freaking smart..just like with the DS3, they knew if they took away the rumble, people would still buy the PS3 (look at the sales), then they said one year later we will release the DS3, knowing people we want rumble, they sold it, they probably already had it made...back onto topic, sony knows what they are doing with release dates, thats why they waited a year late for the ps3, they learned that if you wait then success will come
i don't see the point why we cant have public beta home, i mean it will be a genius idea...or at least try home for a week or two, put out a survery, and fix what needs to be fixed, that way we can have the ultimate things
ok..this has been going on for about two years now..they are JUST NOW asking why we hack our psps? well i will tell you what..it unlocks many things you couldnt do for sure, like the psx emulator, what if we had a whole bunch of PS1 discs...without CFW, we couldnt use them on our psps...also the old emulators, who doesnt enjoy playing Mario on the psp? lets not forget all the apps (psptube, irshell, etc.) i mean its giving us the TRUE potentional, until sony joins it, we will continue to take...
i joined this site because it looked fun two months ago..i read this comment and im just like wow..that had to be the lamest comment ever..when did the ps2 fall apart? i had mine since 2003 and its still running like a champ, it maybe dusty, but hey i can still work it, and you dont expect the 360 to die out? i mean it has been out a year longer, plus many RRoD complaints, i would think twice about posting my friend
i use i-radio everyday...a plethora of stations..and the voice chat? why else would sony imply on bluetooth technology..i play madden all day, and i use my headset..and lets not get into COD4
i own a 60" 1080p JVC hdtv...with the hdmi cables (not bragging), and i think its common for people to get hdtvs now..just think back in the day EVERYONE had a VCR, well, slowly, but surely, we made the transition to dvds...
i was thinking about that...but getting the ps3 for movies only is just plain stupid, dont you think? if you are really to pya $30-40 for a movie, spend an extra $20-30 for a game, then again, thats just imo
well im not the biggest 360 fan, hell not even a 360 fan, but i will say this, m$ better start getting their sh!+ together, or the 360 will fail completely, maybe not now, but in a few years yes, just like the XBOX..look at the ps2, 7 years (8 for japan) going strong, i dont expect it to die anytime soon...i expected M$ to use that $50 mil to fix the 360, not try to own certain rights in a game..oh well just like Vista, they are f*ing up

me being a hip-hop fan, this is just a disgrace, i would rather see Weird AL doing something than red this..i mean GTA is up there, but after Wu-Tang? who remembers that game? and 50 cent? i beat that in two days, took it back to gamestop, and got True Crime NYC...and no Shaq-Fu for sega? this sucks...
