Exactly, and time spent booting is hardly the majority of the time you're using your PC. This test doesn't say much about the performance of the OS.
It will sell poorly on the PS3 because there are much better games out there. The first one was awful; this one has a chance of being marginally better, but who cares?
This is just par for the course for Bethesda. I dl'ed Shivering Isles freeze-fest for PS3 and I don't think they ever bothered to patch that P.O.S. I'm almost glad I have the PS3 version so I'm not tempted to waste money on any more of their crap. Polished is one word that should stay far away from any Bethesda release.
i can take a dump in a box and mark it guaranteed, if that's what you want.
Now, let's see what all the fuss is about

Firstly, I want to agree with ApocalyPS3, this game looks really nice. I have to level a bit of a complaint, though. This site is N4G, which stands for News For Gamers. How is this news? It's only a little bit funny. If it were really funny, I could understand why it would be "news." Who approves these stories? I should be more active in approving news and whatnot. Anyway, I want to play this game. It looks like a blast.
I'm agreeing with Closing here; with the Cell and Blu-Ray, Sony is pushing the boundaries. By next gen, there will be larger storage formats, both internal and external. Sony will be using them, as well as an improved version of Cell architecture. Cell is basically an infant technology, and it will be ridiculous when the next iteration surfaces.
you can't just piss and moan about one part of the game if there are so many unrealistic aspects of it. When I get killed by martyrdom, I generally consider it to be my own stupid fault. There are times when there is no escape, sure, but I use martyrdom while I complete the martyrdom killer challenge. On that note, I won't complain about someone else getting a cheap kill on me.
Not sure the Wii is being dragged anywhere, being the best-selling console and all that hooey.
I have a launch 60gb and haven't had any problems with the update. the xmb does seem to operate more slowly while playing a game, but it's nothing serious. I haven't tried to play COD4 yet. If it screws that up, I'm gonna be pissed. I had only slight problems with GTAIV.
It's a shame really, to think about this already. I feel like the best is surely yet to come for my current console, and I've begun to amass the personal accomplishments, friends, and downloadable material that will make me want to transfer my identity to the next console. You would think that transferring a gamertag or PSN ID, including trophies and achievements, should not be all that difficult. Let's hope they do that this time around. We can transfer our own hard drive information to ...
I played this demo, and after driving around the circle for a few laps, I was forced to start wrecking. The wrecking is actually pretty cool, though. I managed to cause some nice pile-ups by jamming on the brakes and turning sideways while running in 1st place. Hurry up GT5!
ya know what would be great... if you could use whatever hdd or usb drive you wanted... yeah, that'd be nice.. oh yeah, i can.
