They were clearly playing with a control pad, so yes it's bound to look twitchy. I played this game in the early stages and even then the physics were better than what forza and GT were doing. Wether or not Gt7 and forza 6 are better is something we will have to wait and see. But trust me come May this will be the best sim on consoles by a long shot.
I made an observation, the screens do show bad aliasing. Seeing as consoles struggle with anti aliasing, logic would suggest that the screens are from one of the console versions. I'm not a fan of jaggies so I will go with the PC version. Its not as if I was trolling, very sensitive bunch here.
i5-4690k@3.9ghz
Gtx 780 3gb
8gb ram @ 1600mhz
Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit
The big killer is msa, even 2 times has a big hit on fps, tessalation set to normal and shadows set on high helps as well.
but they have really bad aliasing issues on them, PC version for me. No doubt those screens from one of the console versions.
What Nikrel said, Google the ddu software and install it then restart your PC in safe mode and follow the instructions.
Was doing a driver sweep and doing a clean install of the latest driver. My GTX780 is beasting this game now
My PC won't run P.cars in 4k, it will have to be 1080p ultra settings for me
is a long way from being affordable, I'm a PC gamer and I'm happy with 1080p 60fps. You need a Titan to even think about playing at a decent frame rate, 2 or 3 years and 4k will be obsolete and 8k will be the new kid in the block but until gaming tech takes a massive leap forward gaming at these resolutions is a dream most of us will never get to experience.
thats if you buy your games from steam directly, i buy steam keys from cj's cdkeys for a lot cheaper than what the price on steam is
Well I've just bought a brand new motherboard and an i5 4690k so I'm hoping I will not have to upgrade my CPU for a few years.
There are several reasons i game on PC now instead of consoles, one of the main reasons is cost. Yes the initial outlay was quite steep, but now i rarely pay more than 20 pounds for a brand new game. Paying 40 50 pounds for a game seems rediculous to me now. The other main reason is the power of my rig, i dont have to worry wether i will be able to play a game at 1080p 60 fps because i no my rig will play any game on at least high settings no problem. I also love the fact that its upgradable ...
I think it will be a great year for racers on console with project cars, Forza 6 and GT7. It will be interesting to see which one comes out on top.
would I swap my PC for one of these and why would someone choose one over a PC.
kUNOS are an incredible developer, they don't rip off there fans and continue to listen to what we want. £7.33 for this an absolute bargain.
the biggest difference will be 60fps
the quality of the game is more important than the length, the longest movies are 3 to four hours so a 5 to 8 hour game as long as its good should be no problem for anyone.
I quite enjoyed it too, it has plenty of room for improvement and for a first game in the franchise. It looks promising.
is miles ahead in terms of physics, Project cars is the PC's answer to gran turismo. A game with lots of cars and tracks, but sacrifices the realsm that sets other PC sims apart from the console simcade games like forza n GT
isn't that the whole point of steam machines, to give developers a more stable platform to develop for??. All I no is my i5 4690k and GTX 780 very rarely get used to there full potential, maybe a more stable platform will allow for better optimized games for PC.
I already no the PC version will look better, just like PS4 owners no there version will look better than the Xbox one's. This video is just here to get hits from a flame war. DON'T WATCH IT
