This is the only franchise worthy of a yearly release (because ubisoft do it right)! it is so awesome! i cannot wait to find out what happens!!!!!
Edit: i meant in contrast to CoD and NFS those games are dry now. Assasins Creed just gets better and has one of the best stories this gen and is one of my favourite franchises this gen!
my thoughts exactly. me included i downloaded it to see what was what. Its enjoyable, but doesn't make me want to buy it especially for launch price.

if it uses the D pad then yes it will be bad on the 360 that dpad is a mess

I thought it was solid for a beta. I fall into the ground sometimes and get stuck and sometimes the death cam is all weird. but all in all it is fun. It hasnt made me want to buy the game though so ill pick it up after christmas i think.
I agree completely the gun play sounds amazing how the enemies react with every shot. but i do feel it still needs a story i need something to keep me engage to want to find out what happens. just mindless killing doesnt do much for me

Killzone 3 got an 8.5 and it deserved less. Its campaign was far too short i personally wouldve given it a 7.5 or 8. But i do agree with you on the Halo call i think they look at halo with rose tinted glasses and rate it higher then it deserves Reach wasn't the perfect 10 ign uk gave. In saying that Gears of war 3 sounds like it deserves the good scores.
And in contrast Resistance 3 got a 9.0 on ign the SAME score they gave Gears Of War 3
it sounds fair enough. if the story was weak i dont blame them for marking it down. Thats the main thing i play games for is the storyline i dont care much for graphics storyline and gameplay are my main concerns
Im am unsure at this point about Battlefield 3. am starting to rethink my pc build for this game as the beta (yes i know its a beta and is not representative of the final product) did not impress me. kinda wish it looked more like the Medal of Honor online

Why do gaming sites or anybody think the console version will be any where near the graphics of the pc version? honestly our consoles are 5/6 years old. BF3 is going to kick ass no matter what you play it on.
same! im considering buying a new xbox for it. but i cannot justify the cost for just one game!!! and gt5 was a massive disappointment for me personally.
edit: he didnt really mention much of the rivalry between GT and Forza.
