YES! normally new games are around 100 - 120 dollar mark but that is ridiculous i rarely pay more then 100 for a game. remember NZD.
Games in the USA are usually 60USD? thats about 80ish NZD but for some reason we have to pay so much more its such a pain. I am actually thinking of just importing games from the USA since ps3 is region free
agree. in my eyes what you do with your console on your own is up to you but as soon as you start ruining my experience we have a problem! iff you run a couple of homebrew apps fine but don't pirate games and hack games to piss people off. seriously ARGH
at best it will stop the pirates from being online for a week or so hopefully Sony has something they can do to stop it entirely but at this stage its not looking good
I never got into MGS to be honest. but i think i was too young to follow the story so i would buy it just to see what everyone loves about it. then i would give MGS4 a proper go

yeah. i havnt run into anything yet but i dont plan the CoD games and from what i hear those are the only games badly affected by it so far.

hopefully they go back to the original Socom's for this one i bought Socom 2 with headset was awesome.

ive never bought a call of duty game :D but i almost bought black ops on ps3 because i hired it out played through the story and played some online i never had any problems this was straight after launch. i thought the story was epic and zombies was an added bonus but here in New Zealand the damn game cost around $150 I was like no thanks then i saw all these people complaining on the net about how bad the multiplayer has gotten so glad i didnt buy it in the end
i didn't like vanille or hope at first but I guess I either got use to them or they grew on me

these 3 games have previous installments that all won GOTY. its going to be interesting to see who comes out on top.
