Microsoft can reduce the price. Sony can not yet Kinect was taken out so the cost of the xb1 is the same price as a PS4 now.
Microsoft should take a hit of 30 dollars and just reduce the xb1 price, perhaps even 50. Sony will have trouble responding.
A game using the cloud for graphics maybe, can't think of anything else really.

I doubt very much you'll find many differences, at 100p more for PS4.
The x box 1 is using different graphic drivers and tools, so you might get a better version on x box 1 maybe?
Opengl is free source, its a cheap graphic driver, thats get tweaked every now and again. Opengl is always copying directx tools.
I would buy a total war game on console. Creative assembly makes the best strategy games for PC, i believe.
I played Medieval total war 2 every day for a year. Its an old game now, but fighting with thousands of units, was awesome.
Rome 2 Total war is there newest one and thats really good too.

Sony is really struggling with their financials, and i had an opinion previously, Sony would struggle supporting first party titles?
After thinking about it more. The PS4 would be there strongest division right now. So Sony has to look after it, so E3 may not be as bad as i predicted or envisioned.
Sony can't afford for the PS4 to lose momentum. So E3 may yet turn out to be good for PS4 fans.
I can agree a higher resolution does change the draw distance of an image, but the graphics don't change that much from a 720p image to 1080p image. Resolution is just making the image more clearer and sharper, in the background. You still get the same graphics.
1080p image is better than 720p i can't disagree with that, but you're not getting an inferior game if its only 720p realistically and lot of game devs have already pointed this out (p) is only a number. ...
Like i said before resolution only improves the image quality making it sharper and crisper on your TV screen and monitor. Graphics are set once the developer is finished with releasing the game. At 720p the image has just less clarity than a 1080p image, but you get the same graphics on both versions of released game for console.
Just look at the images in this link i provided, it proves what i am saying is true.

Its a reality what's happening with Sony. Real life, get a grip, its not a conspiracy against Sony.
It would depend on the player. Some people are really skilled playing games using a controller. I bet some console players would dominant PC players.

You expect a console with next gen graphics. Resolution has nothing to do with graphics. so never mind that, but if watch dogs can't look better than GTA from old gen its a problem.

Halo was meant to come out too this year, but it isn't. I think Microsoft knows they can't be releasing their exclusives looking crap and running at 792p. I wouldn't say resolution doesn't matter, but i can live with a 900p game next year. 792p is ok for a console that's having issues at launch not in two years, its unacceptable.
I prefer if they waited for directx12 and get the best out of the xb1.

Not surprising, if true. Microsoft wants their games to be running on directx12 instead of directx11. Directx11 isn't helping with the resolution and frame rate issues.
The fan is huge in xb1, CPU will be fine. Directx12x type features for PS4 would be an issue. The PS4 already runs much hotter than xb1, a fact.
