Parity issue really. Come on seriously on get a life.

The PS4 version was dropping frames, with all extra features added on. This was at 900p.

You really think the PS4 version can hit 1080p with the extras and still maintain a solid 30fps?

If anything it mostly likely a CPU issue, Sony 1.6ghz clock . Microsoft 1.75ghz.

Weird is it not Digital foundry reported the xb1, had better frames rates, not much, but that extra 15ghz is...

The PS4 version was already dropping frames at the lower resolution. It would have be downgraded even more graphically to get it running at 1080p.

PS4 is outselling the xb1, its not a lie. The thing is though will it continue to be the case after E3?

Microsoft wins E3 and Sony still sells more console than them for the rest of the year. That's a genuine headache for Microsoft. to figure out, how they can change their fortunate around.

It could be a beta test then. Fable legends is getting a beta this year and its likely to be coming very soon after E3.

Fable legends will be larger than 4 gigs though.

I'm betting it could be an original x box game or something brand new. The size of the download might suggest this, but it might be just a demo of the full game too?

After E3 a surge in sales should happen, depending on what games Microsoft announce of course and people been interested in those games.

Just two more days, for E3.

8 years in development. No game takes that long its not coming its likely true this.

4 days? The way Sony was advertising Destiny i was expecting a month before x box even two. What is the point of getting it four days earlier?

Console war? Seriously one company is struggling to stay in business and has not been profitable for the last four years. Microsoft is a profitable company. All this talk about Sony winning the console war is meaningless unless they sort out their company business. Its all so important to who will come out on top eventually.

PS4 is winning with sales. but its way too early to declare a winner. If Sony is still around and leading Microsoft with the same margin of sales as they...

Kayant, 50 per cent more powerful console be doing this?

While they both generally maintain this level of performance, we found that slight frame-rate disturbances impact the fluidity of the experience, particularly on PS4.

We also observe occasional torn frames manifesting on PS4 along the top ten per cent of the image though the darkened arena does a good job at hiding this flaw most of the time.

I prefer better performance over what you sa...

"Despite EA Sports focusing on 1080p60 with its suite of launch games, UFC appears instead to operate at 1600x900 on both consoles hmmm

While PS4 has a distinct advantage in terms of image quality, it is the Xbox One version of the game that has a small performance advantage

XB1 has a small performance advantage. 50% more powerful you say the PS4?

Its not spin thats what the x box 1 has. He's only one dev doesn't mean every dev prefers it this way. Don't be so defensive this is what this dev said and gave reasons to why he believes it.

xsilver@ Resolution is done by the GPU its got nothing to do with memory.

Devs have full access to 100 per cent of the GPU on the PS4, they didn't till now, it was 90 per cent on xb1.

Lot of games have ended up being 900p on PS4 and 792p...

He also spoke about the unified memory architecture of PS4 and although it has generally been praised, Krzysztof believes that different memories would have actually improved PS4′s performance since it would result into different memory access patterns. As the name suggests, memory access patterns are ways that the developers will access memory, whether it will be a recently accessed portion or memory that follows a more predictable pattern. In short, memory access patterns are the most impor...

A former Gears of war pro was the community manager at this studio for a couple of years and since has moved to Epic games, community manager now with Fortnite.

Its a fun game, from what i have seen of it. Microsoft lost out on a great game here if not coming to xb1?

Master@ Its games like this i want to see on xb1. I love to know for a fact why xb1 wasn't a choice for them?

Again no games belonging to Sony have got dedicated servers. Why do Sony fans believe otherwise seriously, truly, honestly?

Sony has dedicated servers and they don't shout it from the rooftops?

Where are the Sony datacentres providing the servers to people worldwide?

You guys just look stupid when you claim Sony provides dedicated servers, they don't, and you guys need to stop believing they exist when they don't.

Price drop unlikely they can't afford to anyway Sony. And lets be honest they don't need to drop the price if their console is selling good already.

Bundle offers most likely is what we will see.

I be slightly disappointed if we see nothing of Gears of War. Even a shorter teaser is good enough for me.

Its one of the two reasons why i bought an xb1, the other been dedicated servers promised for the xb1.

Unfortunately we will only get dedicated servers for first party Microsoft games. Sony hasn't got them. So third party developers will not code for it with their games.

Unlikely they've got less than 10 months each year to bring out a Fifa game. It will not look that much different to what we got last year.

Ignite engine isn't good either. If they used the Crytek engine we might have a good Fifa game with top notch visuals.

Better GPU performance will help with resolution and graphic effects. The CPU does most of the work for frame rate, though both the CPU and GPU, do work together to achieve both.

I think Microsoft is doing this so dev's will get better resolutions on xb1.

Directx12 main focus will be on frame rate and keep it consistent. Improving the graphics as well. Its a leap beyond directx11
