They can do it of course, but the visuals are not going to be out of this world. The CPU simply isn't powerful enough, unless something unexpected happens from now till then.
OpenGL might be improved on to match directx12 and it could help with frame rate. But I'd have to see how they'll manage it. I'm confident in directx12 for xb1 because of what Microsoft have shown.
I think its because of the shooting and cover mechanics its kind of similar to Gears. The game is third person also. The first gears also had a similar colour palette. Gears was a 4 player campaign, the order is too. Also Gears is humans against monsters, kind of similar.
I can't wait till we see gameplay footage. 1080p 60 frames i think they're dreaming personally.
Uncharted is going to be a great looking game, but i can't see them hitting 1080p and 60 frames.

Its so early in the console race. I wonder in two years will Sony be still leading? Microsoft is releasing in 54 more countries this September see what happens. Microsoft selling in 13 countries compared to 72 for Sony is a big difference.
People on N4G claimed they wouldn't do well in Japan seems they were wrong, so far.
I posted this already and the video proves the PS4 version has issues with frame rate more than the xb1 version. This is evidence you can see it and it can't be denied. Obviously frame rate isn't consistent on both versions but you can see the PS4 version is having more trouble keeping 60 frames than the xb1 version.

60 frames is great, but lets be honest, many games have been released recently and the PS4 version has a worst frame rate. Evidence is out there.
Consoles have been banned in China since i don't know when? So you never know Chinese kids might react differently to what we expect and they might buy it as its a new exciting item for them?

Sony at E3 Battlefield hardline demo 1080p and 60 frames. Turns out it wasn't 1080p it was 900p. How many times has Sony claimed a game is 1080p and it turns out it was a lie.
Sony showed gameplay on a PC. Jeez Sony will do anything to promote the PS4 even lie to fool gamers.

PS4 is already struggling with frame rate. Microsoft has another option to go to beyond directx11, thats directx12.
32mb of Esram is small, but directx12 is going utilise it better.
Red Tech done an comparison video with Sniper elite 3 and the frame rate was much better on the xb1. He's a Sony supporter.

The xb1 version has more screen tearing, but that can be fixed, Respawn proved that recently with the Titanfall update.
PS4 50 per cent more powerful myth busted again. The PS4 clearly has a weaker CPU.

x box live has more security and Microsoft is able to give gamers dedicated servers for free and lot of first party games are now using dedicated servers for private matches. If Sony starts doing this than i doubt the PSN is all that different. The xb1 is build with cloud in mind and its reason Microsoft updates the console weekly and monthly (beta and official release) They have the support in place. Sony is not yet near that level, maybe with the next console?
I would give it to PSN just for the newer games they give away. This is a plus for gamers, but not necessarily great for Sony and its finances. But like i said gamers will love it and will hardly complain.
Online infrastructure. x box live is at least 5 or 10 years ahead. PS4 has a similar online infrastructure to what the 360 had and that's a big improvement.
Apps, are about the same on both i think not sure don't own a PS4.
Alien Isolation isn't an Indie. Microsoft can't tell them do anything and anyway's the game is made by Creative assembly. They're one of the better studios who make strategy games for PC. They've been around for years.

The CPU speeds obviously aren't great, but its also very obvious graphics aren't of a PC standard on consoles. So slower CPU speeds can suffice.
So what if they have more first party studios. They showed nothing at this E3. Until we see something from them having more studios means nothing to me or anyone who has any sense.
We know Microsoft three main first party studios are making games because we are getting fable, Gears and Halo.
Three biggest games for Sony was uncharted, bloodborne, and the order. Frankly the only new game nobody was talking about was bloodborne.
