Indeed I got a great impression from the game based on your article!

And you left the "insult" part as an interrogation not as a statement so each of us could decide. In spite of that I really feel uncomfortable that someone is making such an open use of the Ico feel - the light, the textures, the tall shadows, etc - in order to promote their own work.

Hudson went too far and we don't need a screen comparison for that. So many have been going too far lately...

Luv the wii. I will buy this game.

But the visuals are a rip off man!

This is from the text:

One simple glance at the trailer (below) will surely justify the generally positive response to this presentation (...) The images shown so far reflect a game that is still “work-in-progress”, albeit some very interesting details in that which seems to be a very well-planned gameplay scheme.

The person who wrote this is obviously excited about the game that's NOT the question here. It's the visual plagiarism, the lights the colors the shapes. I...

I read the article and thought that this was a sane point of view. The author underlines the qualities of the game, where it is in fact quite remarkable and original.

However making use of screenshots that look like they're unreleased Ico or Colossus images to sell the game is something Hudson should be blamed for. And take a good look at those pictures - and their aesthetics - and there's no doubt there's serious plagiarism here!

Wasn't there another Katamari released for the PS3? Or was it the xbox?

I played the PSP version and I enjoyed it quite a lot. Still have to find the PS2 version though... this new tribute seems delicious. Toon shading never looked better.

WOW! What a great shooter this will be. Great visuals... and the soundtrack by Dimmu Borghir.... O_O

I wasn't ready for MJs death. I'm a great fan and I this retrospective a lot... more than IGNs or 1UPs: they just did their job without any passion. I read some passion here.

The author's right about another thing: it doesn't matter if you're a fan or not. MJ's death is a tragic event for everyone. Good work easternmind!

I absolutely LOVED The Graveyard, it's the sort of game that makes you think about things videogames don't usually make you think of: like old age and death. I tried the Path and it looked like a game I needed more time to play because it's also mind bending.

This game seems to be very interesting as well... I wonder who the secret videogame personality is?

Digidrive is hard to explain, really, it's a strange and abstract game concept.

I can't wait for Flower either, that game will surely make me relax and release all my stress.

Blasto was OK, you know, we'd play anything back then! I thought the graphics were great, I wasn't all that envious of my cousins who had Nintendo 64. The controls were hard tho.

I got the racers demo and I enjoyed it... very hard but reminds me of Gran Trak and old arcade games. I don't think I'll buying this one, I'm no good at playing it...!

Gosh, did you ever play Digidrive? I'm fascinated with this Bit Generations series as well, the games are all so neat and di...

This was a great read. I simply love Eden and Monsters. I might be checking Racers out some time, has anyone tried this one already?

What surprised me the most was that the same designer behind these games had created games like Star Fox and Blasto! I played Blasto when I was a little girl, I kinda enjoyed it ^_^

Also that duck demo, brilliant!

I don't think the image (with Assassins and Colossus) are exceedingly similar. But when you get on top of the horse on Assassins, you can clearly see that the camera is placed on a similar perspective of that seen in Shadow of the Colossus - and that wasn't seen before in any other videogame, horse or not. Zelda, Gun, Oblivion, Darkwatch, you name it... they all place the horse and rider to the center of the screen.

Don't give me that crap, Ubisoft has no creative minds. If you s...

This new Prince of Persia game is ripping off Shadow of The Colossus, as well as Okami and ICO. When it come to games, there are the works of art that CREATE new contents and inspire others - see Ico, for instance - and the minor releases, the games that come from lesser artists. Games such as this new POP, that is mostly about RECREATING, instead of producing original contents. Also I dislike the way the game makes reference to Team Ico's work, for instance, so it's not as much an inspiratio...
