Nay. It'll be announced toward the end of 2013 with a holiday 2014 release (worldwide hopefully)
But personally, I'd be more than happy to ride this gen for another 2-3 years. I'm having a blast lol
Mark my words, it'll by "meh"
Is there really anyone who doesn't know how to do this?
Don't
Risen 1 could have easily run on 360 and PS3 as well as it did on PC. It's just not a very demanding game. Cut the BS Piranha and make a solid game without excuses. Jesus.
Nobody....
I used to be, until I took that shitty new trailer to the knee.
I lol'd
Speaking of NCsoft, does anybody know WTF happened to that deal they signed with Sony to develop PS3 exclusives? What the hell ever happened to that??
Pam, I agree with you on that - I too am a longtime fan of the Resistance franchise and it would be a shame to not get the full story. Unfortunately Sony doesn't care about finishing the the narrative of a property, nor does any other publisher for that matter. If it doesn't make money, then it doesn't make sense. I think if they did end the franchise as a video game, then perhaps it will live on in comic books and novels like a lot of other games, but that's about it.
...
Or let's just let the franchise die. I've always felt there are much stronger PS3 exclusive shooters anyway.
Glad I went with BF3
Looks like a dead fetus to me.
Um, who the feck are Paradox?
DONT YOU DARE REMIND ME OF THAT MOVIE GODAMNIT!
Metal Gear games without Kojima as Director have a rough history. Look at Snake's Revenge, MGS3 (up until Kojima stepped in), and now (I'm assuming) Revengance.
You're going to LOVE this season then. Just you wait!
Ah, I miss those guys!
They own the rights to Homefront, which might seem laughable to some - but if the collaboration THQ and CryTek have for Homefront 2 is still present, that's a BIG deal. Not only that, but the InSANE trilogy that's in the works at Volition with Guillermo Del Toro penning it.
Also, keep in mind that if THQ were to be bought up, the following studios (and their respective franchises) would come with the deal:
-Relic Entertainment
-THQ San Diego ...
Agreed. Right when they start to step their game up too!
It's a shame to see a publisher be punished for deciding to focus on core games instead of going for the children market.
