What are ten noteworthy PC exclusives from the past 3 years?
There are a lot, but thats only because you're counting those small average games that have dev teams to small to port to consoles.
Believe me, I actualy started PC gaming 4 moths ago and other than the Witcher and those MMO FPS/RPG games, there isn't much for an offline PC gamer other than upgraded versions of games already on the consoles like Skyrim and The Witcher 2

I really fucking love this game. I'm being serious when I say that its the only game that really evoked any emotions in me. They did an excellent job of getting you to get attached to the characters.

The point of the reboot is change. Its surprising to see that all these people are surprised that a reboot of a franchise is not following the exact same formula the franchise has been using.

I don't think you guys understand. There is a reason for a reboot. You don't see a Mass Effect reboot planned, or a Halo reboot, God of War reboot etc..
Reboots are for franchises that have lost interest from the masses. As a non fan of the series, Devil May Cry 4 wasn't that great of a game. Well it would have been nice for different endings but then they we'd have to wait even longer because there are certain decisions on who lives and dies and some characters act differently around other characters.
They'd have to factor that into the script writing for every scenario and alternate endings mean that players will probably have a choice to go to radically different places and such. The production time would be immense for each episode
