I played through the game 3 times and each time I found a new area I had yet to fully explore (on my third playthrough I found out that that giant crystal area had like 100 floors to it with rare monsters that were obliterating my party so I had to revert to an old save lol)
Game is easily the best FF I've played based on content and fun factor alone
You probably only played the main story
If you still have the game, replay it and explore some of the other places. There are loads (and I mean loads) of hidden boss battles scattered across the game world that are 100x harder than the story bosses
The amount of content in that game is still unmatched too me (and yes I've played Skyrim and Oblivion which just offer 1000's of fetch quests with a generic daedra boss fight at the end)
Remaster = $40
All the DLC = $20 (cost of the season pass which includes like 3 MP packs and Left Behind)
343's Halo? Maybe.
Destiny probably gonna be this years biggest game. Sony is hyping it (because PS4 owners get bonus content) and Activision is gonna be hyping it to hell
With that said, if the next Halo trailer shows some off the wall insanely next gen stuff than Halo will without a doubt reign supreme this year (its releasing this year right?)
Sony has its own servers for first party games, but Titanfall isn't big enough to warrant lending them out to Respawn.
For all the hype the game got, the amount of people actively playing daily isn't close to a Halo or COD or even Battlefield
^^^^
Halo yes
Fable no. The colour palate for the remade Fable is washed out and less colourful than the original.
Those look like the hover bikes from Jak 3
Yes
You can definitely tell if you've played the game and watch the video in the link
Game looks different
Will buy again. I started a new playthrough on my PS3 but I guess I'll wait it out
Its been a long while since I've beaten the game so replaying it again in summer will be sort of fresh feeling
You kind of have to play it safe with AAA games because you can't afford to mess up commercially or there goes your studio
Innovation has to come from the bottom up in most cases. Very few big developers trying to push the more unique games we've seen
No one said put AI with aimbots
Just AI that will, you know, kill you if you walk into a group of 5 of them
I doubt people would cry that walking into a group of enemies and dying is unfair
Are you serious?
The facial expressions in the game are subpar compared to other games like Uncharted, TLOU, GTAV, Bioshock Infinite, Tomb Raider (the reboot) etc
The only reason I like the games are for the branching story and the ability to make decisions. The animation (if they are finally using mocap than good) and graphics are definitely not a strong point for the series
Here we go....
That mission and the one where you have 2 minutes to go down a hill while an army of enemies are coming up the hill were two of the hardest levels of gaming I've ever played.
On veteran especially when the AI can headshot you from across the map
Hope they're using a new animations system
They turned the franchise into a RPG/TPS hybrid but the running and gunning is poor because of the stiff animations
They need to address their issue with pacing
The last two games give up all their good way to early (powers, abilities)
In SS, you get the neon power an hour or so into the game. It makes the powers feel redundant when you get them so close to one another and you don't get significant time to fully utilize one before getting another
An example of great pacing is the GOW series. You start off with the chains of Olympus (or whatever they ar...
Gonna need a screenshot comparison between this and the X1 version
Can't tell the difference
How much play time do these add to the game?
Naughty Dog have said for a while that their engine is next gen ready
They make their games and downgrade them for the PS3.
