I did, and i beat it. Its decent AT BEST. Nothing special, 6 hours in and it felt like a chore every time i turned it on to play...
Got 5 stars in all the cases minus 2, its not a hard game at all. It's Just an overall boring, overrated game that gets repetitive quickly and doesn't have a good enough story to keep you interested in playing through it.
This is the kind of score this game deserved.

GT review said it best. "If it werent for the facial animations LA noire would be half the game it is." Somewhere along the lines of that. Thats exactly what LA noire is.... Once you get over how stunning the facial animations are, it's just an OK game.
There is no mission variety, who really wants to spend a good 80 percent of the game looking for clues and interrogating suspects with little to no ACTUAL gameplay?

Still too high. This game deserves no higher than a 7.5. Clues and interrogation get old QUICK.

Good! Thats what they get for putting that STUPID cover system in SOCOM. Sure it works great in games like Uncharted 2 where it takes more than a couple bullets to drop someone.
But it is s*** in SOCOM. It is so easy to camp with that stupid cover system, so frustrating. And the Maps in S4 are horrible! So cluttered and I've been killed so many times by someone hiding in grass. Or getting sniped across the map by a MG.
Confrontation was a WAY better Soc...
Best facial animations without a doubt is LA Noire. Best body animations would go to Uncharted 2.
From what I hear David Cages next PS3 exclusive 1ups LA noire, so that will be very interesting to see.
