I am thinking that this patent has more to do with their Quality Of Life initiative than the NX.
Glad to see the good scores for the game. I was a little skeptical about it but after reading some of reviews I just put in a preorder.
@Pancit_Canton If you have truly played the beta and you think that the game looks like a 360 game, one of the following might apply to you:
A. YOU NEED A NEW PAIR OF GLASSES
B. YOU NEED A TV UPGRADE
C. YOU ARE A TYPICAL FAN BOY
D. ALL OF THE ABOVE.

@AKR My point being the PS4 isn't the first time a more powerful system "won" a generation. I acknowledge there were more consoles available at the time, I owned and still have all of them. None of them competed with the Snes and Sega Genesis in terms of market share or mind share. Also, those two systems were the 16 bit era. The Jaguar, 3DO, etc. was more like the beginning of the 32 bit era. I love the Neo Geo but it wasn't a part of the "console war." By the way...
@AKR You do know there were consoles and so called console wars before the PS4 or Sony entered the market right? I think the Snes "won" against the Sega Genesis and Snes was the most powerful.
I like the streaming feature and I wouldn't mind having it in the NX. I'm sure they will have multiple controller options as they had with the Wii or Wii U. Maybe this time a so called "standard" controller will be packed in and the "screened" controller might be an optional accessory to keep down costs.
Some other games with great soundtracks are Super Adventure Island, Actraiser, Super Double Dragon, Contra III, Super Ghouls and Ghosts, The Star Wars series, and too many other SNES games to list. The Super Nintendo had a beast of a sound chip.
The more video of this game I see the more I am excited for it.
I agree the fake was well made. The funny thing about this is that the leaker confessed that it was fake and went as far to release a video on how it was done and some people refuse to believe him. They still think it was real.
Dedicated servers is long overdue. The lack of dedicated servers is what killed the fun of multiplayer for me in games like Advanced Warfare and Black Ops 3. It seems like P2P can't keep up with the Exo movements in each game.The older Call Of Duty games would have benefited from dedicated servers. I like playing Call Of Duty on PC because of the better online service but the player count is nowhere as high as consoles.
@Wallstreet37 Can we at least wait to officially find out what the NX is before we deem it a failure? You do know that it could be a runaway success depending on what it is. I have no idea what it is and odds are neither do you.
He had a lot of people fooled, especially the Nintendo haters. I thought it was fake from the beginning. The giveaway for me was not the form factor or anything like that. It was the fact that it looked really expensive like it would have costed more than the Game Pad.
To each their own but I always excited about another way to play games. I have the Oculus Rift coming and just preordered the PlayStation VR. For me, it is an exciting time to be a gamer. I can't wait to hear what the NX is about officially.
@superchiller That's your opinion and you are entitled to it. Please enlighten me, what would be great hardware to you? I have enjoyed every console they have produced as well as the competition. I am gaming agnostic but it puzzles me how some people want only their favorite platform to suceed. Can you imagine the gaming landscape without competition?
How bout great games, good hardware, amazing hardware features, and a good price. That's how the NX can be successful.
Well let's be thankful that's not the real controller. I knew it was a fake from the beginning. Whether it's practical or not, can you imagine the cost of the controller buy itself?
Got mine from GameStop in store. They still have preorders up on their site as well. Best But has their preorders available on their site but I'm not sure if they are doing any in store.
Does it have to be a system seller? Why can't it be a great game to add to the library?
I hope they continue the series on the NX. Bayonetta 2 was awesome.
I do agree with this article now as I have more disposable income for a new Xbox and PS4 if both companies are going to release updated consoles. I had money set aside for a NX and I still will buy one but now it is easier for me to buy the newest versions of the consoles and a Playstation VR.
