Don't see how they lost MGS when it was never exclusive and well it's just like GTA and the other games you mentioned. How can they be exclusive when it was multiplat or just never appeared on your console?
PC version can have mods and stuff. Overall this is a good news for ps3 gamers. I got the game on pc so I may pick this up on console for controller reasons.
Best place to start for actual CG artists is to learn, 3ds max, Maya, and any other available software. Being self taught then going to a school like Fullsail uni will help you by a long shot.

Same game I've played since the first COD4.
This movie and DB Evo were watchable. The street fighter movies were beyond horrible. I have to classify Tekken and DB Evo like the MK movies. They were decent and were fun with a satisfying degree.
Watch the Jap dub eng subs. for the OVA's.
