It's the right move, should have been optional from the start, should be cheaper than a ps4 IMO. I will consider getting one now if it gets decent exclusives, that does not mean another tired GOW or Halo game.

Knock off another £100 and get shot of Kinect and I'd buy one.
Foxgod MS don't give a damn about you, I'll never get brand loyalty, I go for the best option always. £80 less, more powerful and no restrictions, PS4 is a no brainer as far as I'm concerned. Blindly following a brand is the only reason to get an Xbone, you are effectively renting your console and games and giving up your consumer rights, sorry that is idiotic as far as I'm concerned. I own a 360 by the way.

I'll hold fire until after Xmas, won't be sure if I really want one until after E3 anyway, not enough info yet. Plenty to keep me going on the current gen consoles for now. Hopefully any issues are resolved by then.
Only category you could argue is the controller but the Xbone controller still needs batteries so that's another fail for me. I predict the mandatory Kinect won't be so mandatory if it goes as bad as it potentially could do after Xmas.
The internet connection thing doesn't bother me as much for PS4 even if it was the same as MS, it doesn't have a mandatory spy tool connected. The more I hear about the PS4 the better it gets, it still gets me how I was going to get an XB and PS4 until the XBone reveal.
It seems every forum I've been on it's at least 85% against these stupid policies. Actions speak loader than words mind, I suspect a lot of people will moan and still buy it, I bet MS are thinking that too.
I really hope Sony take note of this, I was expecting to get the new Xbox and PS4, dependent on what Sony say I could be going to PC instead and giving up on consoles.

It all feels wrong, it looks terrible and you are forced to use Kinect which spies on you, I don't want Kinect, this will bump the price.

More tempted to get an Xbox One now but it would have to have decent exclusives, don't care about GoW or Halo they are tired uninspired franchises for me now. PS4 is more powerful and have Naughty Dog, had both last gen, not sure it'll be the case this time.
