While I understand your point, ME3 on WiiU was one of best versions, with good frame rate and visuals on par with PS360. It's from the same studio that made Deus Ex on WiiU. Batman, AC3 and BO2 had worst frame rate.
Anyway I think the author is right. EA is to blame if they titles sell bad on WiiU. With the same money they could have released a new title and have better success.

That's not a surprise for me, I knew these games has been announced and I'm following them closely. Everybody always complains about "indie" and downlodable titles for N system, but actually I think that the Wii has some wonderful titles on Wiiware. Here is a list:

The only Wii game I'd like to see in HD is Skyward Sword. The beatiful art style was a little ruined by the low Wii res. All the other games were ok for me.

Nintendo needs to make profits from day 1. They don't have multi business like MS and Sony, just videogames.
We'll see what the future reserve for us. The architecture of the CPU inside the WiiU is surely more modern than PS360, it doesn't matter how many cores it has. And every console has custom chip. Surely is a more powerful machine than current consoles. In the end games are what really matter. So far the WiiU is really promising under every aspect.

Yes! Absolutely! Smart gamers (not fanboys) will play good games despite the console where they are developed. If Nintendo continues with a linup like this (and I think it will be) true gamers will buy the system and love it. Think what it means to have almost all the multiplatform games and the wonderful Nintendo franchises on one console!
