I think it's great and I used to be primary an Xbox gamer (I'm now about half and half).
Some fantastic deals, over christmas I bought around 10 games and ended up being the price of 1 xbox game (£38).

I doubt Portal 2 will be that much better. The graphics a tiny bit and better accuracy (which isn't essential in portal, controllers are very capable), and that's it. Not a big advantage if you ask me.
Basically you have all the tools that Crytek have, but you cannot sell anything you make unless you buy a full license from Crytek.

Yeah BC2 is nice on PC but not that nice. I run it max with 4xAA, it's been beaten by a few console games, though obviously it wins when looking purely at texture resolution etc.

Oh I'm exactly the same with Arkham Asylum. Not too sure why...
Killzone 3 is almost as good as BF3 in terms of raw graphics but since BF3 has better graphics, destructibility, wide open playable environments and 64 player online makes it easily snatch the win.
However this is on PC, where the Tech is like 6 years newer for some people.
Actually mr. smart arse bluwulf, Crysis 2 and Halo: Reach are both 720p so are not 'sub-hd'.
On topic though; let's be honest the PC version will own the rest.

Yeah hold your horses, you haven't finished the first one. Why should we need a Minecraft 2? Improvements can be made to the current game, I don't see how he could make the game different enough that it's worthy as standing on its own.

I think they're just trying to show off the graphics and sound with this trailer, a few features too though like dragging bodies. They'll show more obscure things and details etc with coming videos I'm sure.
It's PC unfortunately. But this is pre-alpha imagine what complete could look like, and consoles will be a fair step down from that but may still be great!

Not as expensive as some people make out! Just do your research, ask about on some computing/pc gaming forums and you'll find something for a good price!
Same, I can't see myself playing AC1 or Far Cry 2 (already had both on my xbox and both were 2 of the most repetitive games ever). So I'm not sure if this deal is worth it for me...
