Agreed. The people using them are probably just trolls in the first place, so it serves them right. They'll also be losing access to an online service that they most likely have put money into.
Indeed; it's mediocre at best, and the removal of key features like the original soundtrack and branding doesn't help. It just doesn't keep up.
Well reviews are subjective, and we do have to respect each and every one of them.
Hopefully others will agree.
Thanks a lot for the kind words, Josh_Squire! Hopefully you agree with the review - though I suspect a lot of people won't be.
Sounds like a great title. Might pick this one up.
Thanks Random,
The panel worked on hard on getting a good and thoughtful podcast for readers and viewers to listen to.
Good to see they've upped the minimum from what MW2 was. This may look like it's shaping up to be a great game.
I don't really understand what you are getting at.
Firstly you state that if you don't like Battlefield then you automatically enjoy arcade-like shooter, which is an outrageous generalisation to make.
Also, just because you found bugs doesn't mean that the reviewer did. If bugs were found, then I'm very sure that the reviewer would've noted them in his review.
Then you go on to note there not being any settings adjus...
Indeed! Scott wrote and interesting and wise review. While we may not all agree with his opinion, he's given us various benchmarks to which we may be able to relate to the game, which is something we rarely see in reviews.
Probably because most of the Move stuff is covered, whereas Microsoft is pushing more info out every now and again, such as today's Australian information announcement.
Well there does seem to be a Sonic Kinect launch title coming out. That's one plus I guess.
Sorry, delayed till Christmas 2011. :(
I think all of them were announced in some way or form at E3 (remember that list of boxarts at the press conference?) but only a few were shown off in playable form.
As the article explains, the minis are transferrable on the PSP. They can be got for free on the PSP, but you don't have a special PSPlus section, you have to track it down in the PS Store and click purchase. You won't be charged.
The title doesn't mean the were never dishonest to begin with. It means they've come "clean" on what exactly you're getting and how it will all work.
Oh, I knew about that Panda, but to be honest it's not really something thats open to the masses. I think what Portal needs is some sort of user-created network built into the game, where you can go "ONLINE" and download other people's maps.
Stuff like mods isn't really something that I feel compelled to do due to all the stuff you have to do to get it going.
@Pandamobile I don't recall there being user-created test chambers in Portal 1 on the PC.
I'd have to agree, Twisted Metal is not something fun to watch. Playing it at E3, it didn't even play like fun. Graphics we're pretty cool, especially considering it's not final code.
It's just not my kind of game, I think.
And that's something else that's being debated on Twitter at the moment.
