Unfortunately, Sony does not deactivate YLOD PS3 unless you request it. I would know, I just got off the phone with them as I had a PS3 YLOD on me about a year ago and never thought to request them to deactivate. Fortunately, they were able to deactivate if for me today :)
COD seems to be turning into Halo. So much hatred.
I'm personally stuck in the middle somewhere...I'm getting this game but I'm honestly not all that excited for it.
Exclusive for the 360?
Both the Ps3 and PC each have their own games which are graphically superior while compared to this game.
The 360 hasn't had any games for awhile now ;)

Maybe one of the main reasons RFOM is remembered so fondly by myself & amongst others is because it's the best launch title the ps3 had.
It was exciting times for all of us who eagerly awaited getting our hands on a shiny new ps3 and standing in line out in the freezing cold (at least here in Minnesota) for hours on end on launch day.
And by the time R2 came along, we were all being spoiled by a barrage of other great titles.
But I believe Insomniac'...
And especially now, after playing Uncharted 2...LP2 REALLY looks terrible

And I agree. Most of those games you just mentioned are badass. I can't speak for MLB cuz I've never been a fan of sports games.
