I must admit that it is a fad. It's true. I consider myself a true atheist since I have logically delved into the matter and found my own answers concerning my spirituality but there are many many other people out there who are following this route simply because it is trendy amongst middle and upper middle classes with a distorted sense of reality and unavowed lack of intellect and time. They don't put much thought in it.
The way they are talking about the console version makes it look as if it could be better than the PC version.
It was the best RPG on PC last year and received great reviews. The re-released enhanced edition or patch for those who already had it made it even better. It's definitely one to watch very closely.
I knew I did not read it wrong. They did say that they were going to be making an HD consoles version. I even got reproaches saying I was making stuff up. Anyhow, it does not matter. This game will be received very well by the console community.
but it is rumoured that the console versions will have more characters. I still hope it turns out to be at least around 25. I haven't even seen Rugal yet.

The thing that bothers me a little is the combat. It looks like Fable 2. The comparison with Ninja Gaiden's combat system is inevitable and this one does not seem to match...
And dammit, what's up wth devs and trails made by the sword. I hate it when you make a slashing movement and you have this funky coloured trail coming from your sword. I hated that in Bujingai and Too Human and many others. It looks silly....
Unfortunately, it's appeal is very limited.
