at least the PS3 will boot up and play the disc unlike 30% of the 360s.
this gen of consoles needed a higher capacity storage and blu-ray was just the natural choice. i heard a rumor that one nex-console still uses the antiquaited DVD9 format, but I really don't believe it, no company is that stupid.

these differences are so minute they hardly constitute raising it to the status of being better. but if your totally insecure about your 360 and need to make these statements, go right ahead.
