Yeah probably. This game is just a pisstake of the reception to GTA and other violent games. This will get as much controversy, maybe even more because of the internet's reaction to things at the moment.

The devs are either bad attention seekers or massive irony hunters.
The violence is pure fantasy, it's the reason why violent games sell the most. It's like watching a violent film, you know it's fake, it's cool to see sometimes and you know you will never see something so horrible in real life. This game is anti-fantasy, it brings it in an aggressive way, for publicity probably.
