I don't think he's an idiot at all, he's actually quite hands on with his fans -- and not in a weird way. The fact that he visited some bloke in Australia because he was boycotting L4D2 to prove that L4D2 is better than L4D1 is pretty awesome, the only reason people don't like him that much is because he doesn't like the PS3. A lot of developers don't like the PS3, he just happens to actually say it.
Snipermk0, it's not pathetic at all. Engines obviously power every game we play, not to mention some of best releases in recent history including Half-Life, HL2, and a tonne of UE3 releases -- Batman: AA, GeoW etc.

How is it a system seller that the Xbox 360 gets the DLC first? If I owned a PS3 only, and found out that the DLC for MW2 was coming the Xbox 360 first, I'd still buy it for PS3 and.. be patient! Don't judge it until you actually play the game. If you've played the beta, fair enough, it's not your type of game. But don't hate it because it doesn't have amazing graphics.

Insomniac have said they listened to what the fans and general public did and didn't like about Resistance 2, I have a feeling Resistance 3 is going to be epic.
If we got everything on that list, it would be a beast of a machine. Sadly, we'll be lucky to get 10% of it. If we are getting premium services, though, we will get quite a few. It's going to be a good year. :)

My GOTY by a country mile, and I was a huge fan of both Uncharted 1 & 2.
I've always said that my near perfect FPS would be the story of BioShock, the RPG elements of Fallout 3 and the shooting mechanics of Killzone 2. *drools*
How does this sound legit? It sounds good but I want more than a bunch of details. Leaks quite often happen (look at the slim and WoW expansions) but until either dev or publisher announces it I'm filing this under rumour.

Just FYI, Metal Gear Solid wasn't released in this decade, unless you count the crappy PC port. I agree with this article, although I've always thought and still think that Halo is rubbish compared to other shooters out there (Half-Life in particular makes it look pretty poor).

An article with 'news' with no source is not an article at all. It's speculation. And even this speculation is rubbish, the website is clearly just trying to get more hits because sure L4D3 will probably have a release one day, but you can bet that Valve are working on a new engine (Source 2.0?) and the conclusion to the Half-Life 2 episodes.

Actually, the PS3 version is (very slightly) superior than the Xbox 360 version. It has some slightly higher res textures, and the addition of the DLC challenge rooms. That's it, but it wasn't really better or worse on either console.
I'm getting it for my PS3, I have the original on both consoles -- I wanted the CE, which was only available for Xbox 360, when I already had it for PS3.
