Shit happens. Nomura wanted a 3 part series for XV. XIII and XIV stopped him and his team for years. The game came out its over move on.
What makes it over complicated? They probably just want to make everything usable and fun. Boss parts are fine and who doesn't want more skills? FF7 had tons of them.

Simply put for the originals Crash 2 and 3 shine more so than 1. There's polar bear levels where you ride on the cubs back collecting things you can while being a platformer. Many levels are just fun to explore even if every level last between 3 to 5 mind some you'll visit multiple times to get the other gems in those levels and then there's 5 colored gems that unlock other areas to collect even more gems...

It wasnt "cut" they just didnt make it at the time. I do agree though. The game needed more story. And these 2-3 (should be 5) hour sessions could have helped.

The story's been about Noctis and his friends. That's what most fans wanted since day 1. Since it was revealed all those years ago. The MP feature with new avatars seems like a stupid idea. Why not work on fixing some battle mechanics to make the gameplay feel smoother? Or work on making an improved hard mode with scaling enemies?
