Its to bad about SoM remake (I still like it) and CT's quick port but I also think FF7 is in a league of its own.

5 years of dev time so far. And their current big projects are FF7r and KH3. So sounds like they may finally be thinking of waiting to announce games.

I don’t see it a bad thing by playing the past KH games. They can be pretty quick.
IGN has been known for some very terrible reviews. Look at their KH reviews of the trailers. They have their most die hard fans on the game and they dont even know the names of the characters. Sure God Hand is hilarious yet they're the only site to review it so harshly.
As for Pokemon it absolutely works here. Omega Ruby is a remake and quite a damn good one. And one of their negatives was "too much water".
The same IGN that gave God Hand a 3 and Pokémon a 7.8 because of too much water.
