I've given this story a "cool" rating because this scenario will differently be on my favorite tv show "Law and Order" hopefully on Criminal Intent and not Special Victims Unit, lol.
Traditional graphic cards, like the ps3, only performs at 50%-60% of it's actual specs, because vertex shaders and pixel shaders operate on different pipelines, thus causing the traditional graphic cards, like the ps3, to actually stall, so that vertex shaders and pixel shaders can perform their task on separate pipelines. Then the traditional graphic cards, like the ps3, displays the image onscreen. This stalling causes the traditional graphic cards, like the ps3, to operate at 50%-60% of it...
If the rumor is true then I wonder why the developers just gave up?
Yes because as we all know nividia and sony has sign a long term deal.
The ps3 does not have a unified pipeline solution, yet the GeForce 8800 graphic card does, the ps3 does not have eDram, but you can bet the ps4 will. Also "DJ" anybody can and will tell you the traditional graphic cards, like the ps3, only perform at 50%-60% of it's actual specs.
I know I've been posting news that were posted in forums, but I wanted to promote the site. I mean as awesome this site is, when it comes to gaming news, it does not a forum...
WOW first the GeForce 8800 graphic card has a "unified pipeline design" and now nividia is hire for "eDRAM" development. I guess the Xbox 360 really does have a "New-Generation" graphic card design.
Note: The picture I attach with this Article is to symbolizes sony's PS4 graphic card being a complete rip-off(copy cat) of the Xbox 360's "New-Generation" graphic card design.
p.s. I do know the ps2 has eDRAM, but not Xbox 360...
DJ everybody is entitled to their opinions, but "My God" you really don't know your information. I've been reading a lot of your replies and man you are just not in the know. It's like somewhere along the lines of your facts gathering, your information just gets distorted...
-DJ- you seem to not know that "96mb" of ram is dedicated only for the OS program for the ps3. Which leaves the ps3 with only "416mb" of usable ram for the games themselves.
While the Xbox 360 has "32mb" dedicated to their OS program, leaving "480mb" of usable ram for their games. When you do the math then you'll realize that the Xbox 360 has "64mb" of more usable ram than the ps3.
If you think about that then y...
Not enough evidences to believe that Microsoft did not buy exclusives or Capcom themselves.
Not enough evidences to believe that Microsoft did not buy exclusives or Capcom themselves.
you cannot be serious with the comment "ram does not matter" especially when you are talking about 64mb of more ram.
Has there been any official announcement regarding downloadable content for the ps3, from sony or Take-Two Interactive?
thanks for the find
I'm not sure you understand console hacking...
great article but it really doesn't represent the masses(yet).
Microsoft and Rockstar have signed an "exclusive agreement" to provide episodic content via Xbox Live
this sucks for the internet...
Resi 5 exclusive denied

Tuesday 26-Sep-2006 11:02 AM Rumours from Japan that Resi 5 will be 360 exclusive have been shot down by Capcom
Word from Japan had suggested that Resident Evil 5 will be exclusive to Xbox 360 for a year but that's not the case, Capcom tells us this morning...
"Resident Evil 5 will release on PS3 and Xb...
Just to letting you know that ms is apparently better at delivering HD content than apple and blu-ray, just read the article and pervious articles before it.
So you may be satisfy with the second best way of getting HD content, but the masses chooses ms's way.
