Well the title says Open World Game Fatigue: Why Bigger Doesn't Mean Better and the comments have been people saying which ones they thought got it right and those not so much.
I loved The Witcher 3 and Horizon Zero Dawn! I'm still playing The Witcher's DLC. I completed HZD in preperation for The Frozen Wilds with that said I've been playing Assassins Creed Origins for a week and a half and fatique is setting in. Time for a break.
Also when someone likes something you don't and you say "you are more easily amused than me" it kinda comes off as pretentious.
I did and completed both and I enjoyed this one just as much. Like I said I don't play FPS's anymore but I like the ones like these that are story driven and it covered a lot of dark subject matter and did so very well. It's not my favorite but when the artice says it's boring I just disagree.
I've noticed that as well. The ones that compare them I understand but this I'm scratching my head because this game is garbage and it doesn't matter how good it looks its still garbage!
It's in good hands I just want to play it!!!!

I think it's awesome! I don't really do FPS's anymore but this is a great game!
I get it it's more powerful and it's main selling point is third party titles look better but I have a capable 4K tv and third party titles look amazing on the Pro. So for me it's a wash as I'm happy with amazing. I don't care how devs make a game look good as long as it does. I have a 4K tv I'm not in a 4K cult where everything better be native or else. They need to get serious about first party software. That would go a long way with me.
Yep except the $500. is going towards all the Sony exclusives and good third party titles next year. I can't wait till 2018!!!!!!!!!!
It works out good for everyone then as FFXV looks awesome running on my Pro on my 65 inch Samsung KS9000. As does Assassins Creed Origins, Wolfenstein 2 and so on. Good times!
To be honest I never played Ascension. I don't recall a lot of hype for it. I've played every GOW game on PS2, PS3, PS4 and PSP but I had no interest in Ascension. Now on the flipside when I saw the reveal trailer for God of War I shit my pants and have loved everything I've seen or read since. I'm no fortune teller but God of War will do big business as will Spider Man and Red Dead 2.
Wow struggle really!?!? Pretty sure God of War, Spider Man and Red Ded 2 will more than deliver as they are in very capable hands. I'll go out on a limb and say God of War will over deliver as everything I've read and seen of the game to this point shows how much time, care and hard work have gone into it's development. The films have nothing to do with Insomniac's game so not sure what you are talking about. As for Days Gone well I seem to remember articles popping up on here...
I know it's just speculation at this point but if the PS5 has the rumored specs I would pay up to $500. no problem. If feel the extra $100. could go toward better CPU/GPU.
