I love it and I haven't played a MH game since the PSP days but my step son showed me the ropes and I'm having a blast!
On a side note I'm about to go get my Shadow of the Colossus pre order! Good times!!!

Couldn't agree more! It and HZD are shining examples of how to do an amazing base game and expansions in open world action RPGS!
I would be fine with that and like others have mentioned COD would be fine but this push to make all games fit into it is for the birds!

My kids friends spend the night sometimes and have never played HZD or TLOU and played them here and wound up asking for and getting some of them for Christmas and one even got a PS4!
I've made it a point to expose my kids to SP games. They've been playing since they were small and at that time I had the PS2, GameCube and Xbox.
Two of them really love SP games and do play some Fortnite but do crave the narrative driven games which I love!
Matt doesn't have a lot of patience and likes sports titles, racing etc but will play a SP game from time to time.
Because of this they've had friends who come over ...
Goldeneye started it for me! Mario Kart 64, Diddy Kong Racing and Halo I & II were other great ones but Goldeneye was so amazing and game changing for me!
Our generation was so lucky in that we got to witness the evolution of video games from Atari to where we are now and everything that came in between!
To tell the truth I'm shocked the PS4 has continued to sell like it has! I guess it's not so shocking when you take into account all the options available like the quality of games and third party partnerships they have or PSVR!
On topic though I think the games that are incoming like God of War(especially the GOW Pro) and Spider Man they'll move even more! 2018 may be Sony's best year yet!
I don't play Destiny or COD so that doesn't bother me but I know many do but really it'd be good if the BiG guys got some competition! Most years games that I do play get nowhere the numbers they do. Like The Evil Within 2 or Wolfenstein 2 last year.
If Shadow of the Tomb Raider releases on ALL platforms that will help its sales but if if goes "timed" exclusive Red Dead 2 won't be its only concern!
Yeah I'm a collector so I love physical media and have mine arranged neatly.
Physical is really cheaper as I get some of my games used. I also trade and get newer ones that way. I hardly ever spend cash on games!

Well now that Disney has Wolverine, FF and the X-Men maybe the next one will be better!
Seems like they said last E3 was on base model.
PS4 will move a lot of units with the games coming! Lots of exclusives and third party games like Red Dead 2 that have marketing deals with Sony! God of War and Spider Man will be huge sellers!
With so many titles releasing now and throughout the rest of the year it seems fine with me!
