If they have become stale then that's the perfect opportunity! It doesn't always have to be as dramatic but it can do a series good if the creators are willing to take some chances. I can think of a few series that are just rinse and repeat and in need of a new direction!
As long as Sony continues to allow devs to be creative and let the process work and release both AAA exclusives along with niche titles they can't go wrong! It's not hard to see why they've been successful!

Awesome and this ought to calm the "concerned" journalists yesterday wondering why we haven't gotten a release date yet! Sony is on a roll and just shows what quality exclusives can do and that's move PS4's!

I love when there's things like this in games i.e. aliens in GTV, the ghost in GTV or the Bigfoot legend in San Andreas! I haven't gotten to this cabin yet but I'll make it a point to and hopefully if there is no Bigfoot in the game there will be some in DLC.
Good to hear and I never bought a chest but it seemed like having them in there would undermine the whole point of the game which is playing it!

Well without sales you wouldn't have a product to buy! If you can't afford all the games that's fine they aren't going anywhere! That's the great thing about physical media.
If they did there wouldn't be as much profit from the sales and in turn there would be fewer exclusives so no it wouldn't benefit Sony! Those exclusives rely on the sales they make.
I'd say what they are doing is working out well for them as they are headed towards 80 million! They are the market leader and to me if I were a competitor I would look to emulate what they were doing!
This was a given but so cool to see it! I'd love a Ditko version a Romita version as well as a McFarlene one and the symbiote, cosmic, Spider Armor, Surperior Spider Man, 2099, Spider Man(2002), Amazing Spider Man 1&2, Homecoming , Infinity War and really any of the many versions Peter's wore. With Miles being in it I'd love for his costume to be in there as well!
