@TheOptimist I'm a Nintendo fan(got my NES in 85) but let's be honest they made a few classic games back in the day and have rinsed and repeated since! Hit me up when they create some new classics and Arms and Splatoon ain't it!
Now on the flip side Sony has also created some classics and refresh established games with more than marginal upgrades. Look no further than GOW and they create new IP's! See HZD, Death Stranding, Dreams and Ghosts of Tsushima!
It is a real comment and if M$ did things like they did back in the day I think they'd be in a better position now! They used to have exciting games and cool studios but now they just seem to rely to two or three series and want MP only,GAAS etc and that's nothing I want!

I was pretty excited for Xbox back in the day when the OG was out. Not as much as the PS2 but I loved it because it had some badass exclusives but they haven't been that company for a very long time!

I can agree with that and GOW is a good recent example in that the trilogy was solid and even the PSP titles were pretty good but by the time Ascension came along it was kinda losing steam! Fast forward to Cory coming back and pitching a whole new take and getting the brass on board and we have GOW!

Also from what I've seen of the story so far is interesting! I also like real biker clubs are represented in the game.
That's what interests me most. The wildlife both infected and uninflected and the fact uninflected run from Freakers or other infected wildlife is intriguing to say the least!
Also the Freakers having an ecosystem and nests is interesting! Being able to enter any structure is also welcomed. I can't wait to explore Oregon!

What gets me is some folks always go to the Uncharted copied TR! The only similarities Uncharted had with the Tomb Raider games available in 07 was going to exotic locales and treasure hunting! Uncharted is more Indiana Jones than the Tomb Raider games available at the time. ND took the premise and developed it to such heights that Square Enix used the formula in the TR reboot.
