No. when Microsoft ban you, you can still play offline or you can buy a new console then you can recover your gamertag to play online. Sony can disable your console online and offline.

But most of these fanboys don't read pieces anyway.. Once an article is not PS3 positive then they bash, the piece, the site, or the person who wrote it. I know N4G is better than this....

I Disagree with you Userthree. Games Thirst has brought many great stories on N4G and some very good articles. The site has also submitted some articles that I would consider flamebait. But overall, Games Thirst has brought many great topics on N4G.
And like I said in my report. This is a rumor, it should be approved and then we vote to doubt it or believe it. I don't know why so many folks are worked up.
Nintendo is doing great true, but they sacrificed the hardcore. Then again, one could argue they never really had the hardcore.
