There's a ton of repetitive games these days. I'd say games are more repetitive now then they were a decade ago.
A new F-Zero would bring more variety in difficulty in Nintendo games.
I agree with the list, but I think SSX, Tekken Tag Tournament, TimeSplitters, and Resistance were awesome launch titles too.

I liked all 3 and they all sold pretty well so idk how they supposedly failed.
